The apartment is a delightful, comfortable home from home with three pairs of double doors opening onto a large private patio - perfect for summer dining or a drink before dinner - which then leads directly into the magnificent yet tranquil Crescent Garden - accessible only to residents. No surprise then that Crescent Garden was voted 'London’s finest communal garden' in 2007. In addition to the glories of the garden, the garden flat offers flexible accommodation for parties of up to 7 people. The master bedroom is light and spacious, bedroom 2 opens directly on to the private patio and /bedroom 3 has a 3' sofa/bed.

The apartment is situated in the charming 'Little Venice' area of London so called because of Regents Canal - still in use - that runs through the neighborhood. Little Venice is situated just a mile or two from downtown London, a stroll away from London Zoo, Lords Cricket Ground and Regents Park. Trendy Notting Hill, bohemian Camden and Portobello market are a mile to the west and many of London’s finest theaters, galleries and museums are no more than a short bus/ tube ride away. Just a three minute walk from the apartment you can catch a bus to London's vibrant West End or to Knightsbridge, or take a tube from Warwick Avenue Station. The 'Heathrow Express' (the fastest link) takes just 15 minutes from London’s key airport 'Heathrow' to Paddington station which is a 5 minute tube/ taxi ride away from the Garden Flat. A short walk away is the lively Clifton Road 'village', with great coffee shops, restaurants, a small supermarket, drugstores and a couple of good old English pubs.

Our family of 5 adults stayed in May, 2009, and found it to be both lovely and very convenient to transportation and shopping. The garden is beautiful, and the patio is a wonderful spot to have breakfast before heading out, or an evening drink. Having a kitchen and laundry facilities really helped out on packing light and saving a little money. Roberta is very helpful too. The neighborhood is great, with a canal that can be walked to Regents Park and other locations. I am a total convert to renting an apartment now instead of staying in a hotel, and would recommend this one to any group wanting a nice place to stay in the heart of London.

Wonderful garden flat in Little Venice

Dear Roberta,

I wanted to take a moment to thank you so much for making our stay in your flat so agreeable. The flat was all that your write up promised. You have provided a lovely place to stay. It is very well appointed and equipped and you have provided lots of helpful books, instructions and even a pay as you go cell phone! Of course the location and the lovely patio and access to the beautiful 3 acre private garden made it just perfect. Our grandson especially enjoyed the playground. I hope that we will be able to return again soon with our other son and grandson. As an expat. I can't think of a better place to stay in London. I would recommend your flat to any of my friends, in fact have already done so.

A wonderful stay

We stayed in this lovely apartment with our family of 7. It couldn't have been nicer. We found the area to be very safe as well as charming; the accommodations to be every bit as nice as described. The apartment was clean, welcoming and offered all the comforts of home. The garden area was very nice, and as we were there in early spring, we can only imagine how beautiful it is in the summer. The tube station was conveniently close, and the area offered places to eat, and pick up necessities. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this to anyone, a great place to call home while visiting London.

The Garden Apartment Is A London Gem!

My wife and I stayed at the Garden Apartment the first week in January 2009 and were delighted with this roomy, well-equipped apartment. We've made numerous trips to London in the past and always found ourselves most comfortable in an apartment versus a hotel. The Garden Apartment was without a doubt the best find yet for us and we consider it a true "London gem". The apartment's proximity to public transportation worked well for our sightseeing adventures, but it was always a welcome treat to return to our quiet home-from-home. Close by are all the shops you should need for your necessities and there is even a dry cleaners there too. Additionally, Roberta is a pleasure to deal with and extremely helpful in accomodating your requests, both before and during your stay.

A perfect place to enjoy London

Five days in London Cachan (close to Paris)

We greatly enjoyed our family holidays in the garden flat. The space, the garden view and the quality of the equipment are remarkable.
The flat is very clean and well-maintained.

Access to the tourist spots is done with tube or bus.
The victorian-style neighborhood is pleasant and quiet.
A mini-market, cafés and shops are located nearby.
