Roomy house, but unfortunately not clean

The house was roomy, but not clean. The furniture was outdated and part of the kitchen equipment was broken or missing. When walking through the kitchen, the tiles on the floor were sticky and pasted to our shoes. The terrace outside as well as the sun loungers were dirty and had not been cleaned for quite some time.
All in all we would not return to this house and would not recommend to rent it.
Owner's Response: When our guests arrive and the house is not as clean as they like, they may call the management for the cleaners to come. This guest did not take the opportunity to do so. It is very rare that we have any complaints, but we are more than happy to resolve any issues that are brought to our attention. Unfortunately this guest left his own mess of trash all over the yard that had to be picked up. He was angry that there was a small deduction from his deposit to pay for this, and I think this negative comment is a retaliation. A sticky spot on the kitchen floor or a little dust on the outdoor furniture is not something most people would go public about.
