We are located an hours drive from Calgary and offer exquisite amenities in luxurious surroundings to provide an ideal retreat for the sophisticated traveler. Large enough for family reunions or corporate retreats, yet intimate in scale for smaller groups; we look forward to making your visit memorable.

THE LODGE property is completely 'smoke free' inside and outside. We cannot accept any pets or service animals of any kind on the property as we are a low-allergy environment. Please plan for your stay to begin & end on a weekend, more or less, as there are no daily rentals. Parking space is limited; trailer, bus, multiple vehicle, boat or RV parking is not available on-site. Rates include initial concierge check-in and all tax/fees unless noted; your reservation is only confirmed upon the receipt & posting of your deposit.

The Silvertip Lodge. Fantastic Home !

This is a fabulous home. It's location, views, and furnishings are beyond what we needed or expected. Alex & his wife have thought of everything you would want in the house. It is spacious, warm and comfortable.
There is a high end kitchen that is large enough for multiple cooks. Pots & pans and dishes for well over 15 people. More that enough bedrooms, with their own baths to satisfy 4-5 couples. We never found time to use the lower level game room which has a pool table, foosball, and other games.
And many bonuses. Sitting / TV room on upper level is a warm and cozy room to watch TV, read a book, or have a group discussion. We used the outdoor table & chairs a couple of afternoons & night.
The pantry is huge, with a large freezer in the pantry for use. Also, the house and garage has numerous bicycles, backpacks, winter ski equipment, and garments.
The house is in a very quiet area overlooking the village of Canmore and a short drive to Banff and to numerous hiking trails. Several restaurants, pubs, and shops are located a short drive in Canmore & Banff.
Caroline, the local property manager was outstanding. She met us a scheduled and showed us through the house and offered suggestions on restaurants & activities. Caroline was always available for a call.
I would strongly recommend The Silvertip Lodge to any group who needs space and a quality facility.

Golf: We are located overlooking the SILVERTIP golf course and are minutes away from multiple other mountain courses, each with its own personality, scenery and level of play.

SilverTip is the home of 'extreme mountain golf' with challenging shots and drastic elevation changes, where even the golf carts are equipped with four wheel drive. Stewart Creek is located along the Bow River and is known for lush views and at times deceptively easy-looking holes and is a step up from the meandering, river valley Canmore Municipal Course where it is usually a cool and pleasant walk. The grand-daddy of them all is the Fairmont Banff Springs course, now 27 holes, and the very first course in the Bow Valley. A further drive is the 36 holes at Kananaskis, designed by Robert Trent Jones and deemed by many to be among the prettiest courses around. Play 9 holes of 'cowboy golf' for change of pace at the rustic Brewsters Guest Ranch, where the links are wild like in Scotland where the game originated.

Ski: We are located a short drive from several world-class ski resorts, including Mt. Norquay, Sunshine Village and lake Louise in the Banff area, as well as Kananaskis.
