Just returned from our "Get-away" and what a fabulous time we had!We were 4 ladies in our 60's - 70's, each had our own bed, golfed every other day and shopped inbetween! What more could you want?Coffee every morning on the lanai to watch the sunrise and cocktails at night to watch the sunset.Lots of military action out front. All the facilities of home, plus some, were there and grocery shopping at Foodland and Longs Drugs had everything you needed. Bar-B-Quing was great and cooking our own meals saved many pennies. You do need water shoes as the coral reef is right there but the water is warm and walking along the beach was great.
If you want to golf log onto "GolfNow.com" and get their golf specials for the courses on Oahu. We golfed the Championship courses for less than half price and the Military courses let you on after 11:30AM, NO tee time, just show up for $44. including cart. (You don't have to be military and stay away on weekends).
We went to Rachel's restaurant in Honolulu and let her arrange what to eat. Great meal we had. Thanks Rachel.
Connie or Rachel were just a phone call away and they were very helpful when we had the big blow and lost power for a time. It was an adventure. Played Dominoes and all the other games that are available.
We would go back again in a flash. We toured the whole island using this as our base. Even climbed to the top of Diamond Head.
