A TRULY AMAZING PLACE!

We (my family and friends) stayed at this home and immediately fell in love with it the moment we walked through the front door. The house was absolutely beautiful and immaculate, it felt like we were the first people to stay here because of the care put into the home. The pictures posted do this home no justice. The surrounding homes in the area were spectacular, it's in a wonderful neighborhood. The house is perfectly located near a sandy beach, a rocky ocean front and Fort Williams State Park where I spent most of my mornings running along the ocean front. The view from the home is fabulous. I woke up to an amazing sunrise every morning and spent a lot of time on the very peaceful porch watching the ships and boats go by. In the evening, we slept with the windows open and enjoyed the sound of the waves crashing onto the the rocks and the ocean breeze come through our window. On a foggy day, we heard the boat's horns communicating with each other and with the light house near by (Portland Head Lighthouse), that was a special treat for us. We were able to purchase lobsters near by for about $4.00 each and prepare them at the house regularly. Lynn, the owner of the home, made sure we had all we needed for our stay. She asked prior to our arrival if there was anything we needed for our stay and offered to have the house stocked with those items before we arrived. We were left wanting for nothing on this trip.
We went whale watching in Boothbay Harbour (about an hour away). That was great! We found Portland to be a very short distance away (maybe 10 minutes) and a great place to visit, shop and dine out. We also visited Freeport where they had some great outlets and dinning (about 20 minutes away).
I would definitely stay here again. I can't wait to stay here again. This truly is a perfect location and a magical place. I want to return with my family. I want to return with my friends. I simply want to return! This vacation was amazing and will be remembered as one of the greatest vacation's our family has ever taken.
