Villa Reyna:
The property is located right on Costambar beach. There is a covered front terrace overlooking the front garden and beach. Inside there is a large combined living and dining area, with TV, DVD and DVD/iPod connection available. Bring your own iPod and listen to your own music! There are three ample bedrooms with A/C,leading off the living area. There is also a fully equipped kitchen and laundry area leading off the back. The rear doors of the living/dining room open out to a fully walled-in private backyard with a pool and waterfall as well as a jacuzzi . There are two cabanas, one equipped with a wet bar, principally for eating and entertaining and including a BBQ. The other cabana offers a full covered additional seating area. There is also a full bathroom in this cabana and there are chaises and pool toys available. The entire backyard has been recently landscaped and is a beautiful place to relax or entertain.
The Beach:
The white sand beach is wide and partially shaded. Closer to the sea it is more open so you have the choice of sun or shade. Immediately in front of the villa, there is a local, Joaquin, who rents out beach chairs and water sports equipment at very reasonable rates. The sea is usually very calm and safe to swim in as it is protected by a reef. Just a couple of minutes walk to the left along the beach is a collection of small beach bars offering light snacks and refreshments. The whole beach ambiance is very relaxed and apart from the locals, the majority of people on it will be resident expatriates or people who rent local properties. They are very friendly and will offer advice on sightseeing, amenities and other matters of interest.
Local Amenities:
The gated community of Costambar has a mini village close to the entrance, where there is a small local supermarket, beauty salon, pharmacy and several bars. In addition there are several good restaurants within walking distance of the villa. If you want to explore further, a local taxi service is available and within 5-10 mins there are half a dozen additional restaurants which are all excellent.
