This luxury one bedroom apartment, owned by an English-Italian couple, is located a few streets from St Peter's and Castel St. Angelo. The apartment is about 60 sq m, on the top floor of a 1920's building. There is a lift and a full time caretaker. It has been fully renovated and includes all needed appliances. The apartment is very bright with stunning views. It has a modern and very spacious living room with a sofa bed that can comfortably sleep two, also a single bed futon. The apartment is in walking distance form the sites of Rome-Piazza Navona-Piazza di Spagna-The Vatican Museum with the Sistine Chapel- Castel St. Angelo, the former tomb of Emperor Hadrian converted by the Pope's as their fortress and where Tosca threw herself in the river Tiber.

Car: not necessary
Rome is in the centre of Lazio; only a short distance from the coast, 20km to Ostia with beautiful remains of the old Roman port. Anzio is 60km travel and is connected via an hourly train. It offers superb beaches and a ferry to the islands of Ponza. Tivoli exhibits magnificent water gardens, Villa d'Este, as well as the Hadrian Villa nearby is only a few miles away. In the winter months, there are very good skiing resorts only an hour away by car. The lakes of Bracciano and Albano are again close by. To the North are the Etrusan Necropoli.

My friend and I stayed here for a week. We found the apt. very comfortable,clean and well equipped. It is an excellent location in a quiet neighborhood but very close to restaurants and shopping and St. Peter's. The views from the apt. were wonderful and memorable. We would stay here again.

Exactly as advertised; no complaints whatsoever.

Wonderfully positioned, well-maintained apartment priced cheaply, considering what it has to offer, in terms of location and quality. Very close to transport links too which is a bonus.

Warm and user-friendly layout, suitable for all ages. Very clean throughout. All inclusive. Ticks all the boxes! Would recommend to anyone.
