Farnesi Apartment is located on the first floor (second to Americans) of a no lift XVII century palazzetto recently restored. It has been furnished with care by the owner with antiques, such as ancient tapestries, elegant tile floor, beautiful pictures and wooden ceilings.

The apartment, very quiet, consists of a large and bright living area where also is a unique round double bed, a dining area with an authentic Impero style table, a modern sofa bed and an antique fireplace perfectly working.

From the living area a nice door will lead you to a small corridor that, until the last century, was on open air. Most of the houses had those bathrooms, called pensile, they were separated from the house and only accessible through an outside passage.

The present corridor has now two nice gothic style small windows facing a small courtyard. At the end of the corridor there is a fully equipped kitchenette with washing machine, dishwasher, refrigerator/freezer and microwave. Here you will find some basic items: oil, vinegar, salt, spices, coffee, tea, soluble coffee, a moka for a perfect Italian espresso and everything necessary for cooking.

To complete this distinctive property there is a marble bathroom with shower where you will find a hairdryer, soaps, shampoo, balsam.

my husband and I stayed 3 nights in the appartment and we could not have asked for better.
it is very clean and confortable. close to everything ie campo di fiori, trastevere, the jewish quater, the coliseum. etc you can walk every where. If you don t feel like walking the bus is 100m away. Michela, the owner s daughter, is a very delightful young lady. she knows every thing about Rome and was very helpful.
I would certainly recommand the appartment and will return next time we visit Rome

This apartment is conveniently located to everything in Rome. Michela met us at the apartment and explained everything to us even though our flight arrived very late. She was available for help anytime by phone or email. This is a great place and the price is very reasonable considering the location. We enjoyed every moment of our stay and highly recommend this place for convenience and excellent service.

Fabulous beginning to our first trip to Italy

We loved Rome and staying in this comfortable apartment for 2 weeks was the reason we had such a wonderful experience. Barbara arranged for a driver to greet us at the airport and drive us directly to the apartment where her charming daughter, Michela, welcomed us and provided a thorough orientation to the apartment. Everything was clean, neat, and well maintained. Every detail was considered; so many extras were provided from the computer to soap and detergent. The washing machine was quick & easy to use. Loved the extra large bath towels & heated towel racks.
The location was perfect. I am so glad we were able to stay in the Centro Storico and walk everywhere, although we did use buses too. The apartment is cozy for two, and depending on the length of stay would probably work for 3 people too. We would certainly stay here again and would recommend it to our family & friends.

Charming apt in a great location

We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go (Vatican, Trastavere, Pantheon, Collosseum) from this apartment. Having a kitchen and a washing machine was very handy. We ate breakfasts in the apartment. A grocery store is just a few blocks away. Michela was very helpful when we arrived. The car from the airport was essential as we were pretty wiped out when we arrived after traveling for over 18 hours. Mille grazie, Barbara and Michela!

Perfect!

We truly enjoyed the charm of the nearby squares, the ease to walk to major sites. The recommended restaurants were all very good! The decor of the apartment and friendliness of the owner and her daughter were beyond Great! They even arranged avery nice private car service to the airport for our departure!I would go back in a heartbeat and recommend this to anyone!
Having the internet availablity on the provided computer was another plus!
