3 Bedrooms, 2 Full Baths Sleeps 8

Located on the 5th floor of a 10 story high rise, this oceanfront unit has ocean views from the living room, kitchen and master bedroom. It is equipped with wireless internet in unit and lobby areas, three TV's with DVD players, full size washer & dryer, and fully equipped kitchen. Oceanfront balcony is accessed from living area or master bedroom. The master bedroom, 2nd bedroom and sleeper sofa are equipped with queen size mattresses. The 3rd bedroom has bunk beds.

For kids of all ages: Activities range from building your own teddy bear at Barefoot Landing to watching hundreds of alligators being hand fed at Alligator Adventure. At Broadway at the Beach, there is an amazing aquarium, an IMAX theater, Planet Hollywood, Hard Rock Cafe and NASCAR Speedpark. In Myrtle Beach center you can visit Ripley's Believe It Or Not Museum, Myrtle Waves water park or ride the Skywheel. Kids will love eating at Medieval Times and Pirate's Voyage where they actually get to participate in the show. On the beach, a short walk from the condo, kids can rent beach tricycles and banana boats. Should it rain, there is a large cinema complex a few minutes south on Route 17.

Other activities nearby: Take a leisurely cruise along the Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway aboard the Jungle Princess at Barefool Landing. Go deep sea fishing, ocean speed boating or jet skiing at Little River, about 20 minutes north on route 17. Also at Little River, try your luck on one of the elegant Casino Cruises. You can try your hand at the world famous Cherry Grove Fishing Pier at the north end of North Myrtle Beach. They rent equipment. How about parasailing? They are located a short walk to the north along the beach from the condo. Live entertainment at The Alabama Theater and The House of Blues is 5 minutes from the condo. The Carolina Opry and The Palace Theater are about 15 minutes away. You can also find vineyard tours, wine tasting and horseback riding nearby.

Activities at a little distance: Spend a relaxing day at beautiful Brookgreen Gardens about a half hour south of the condo on Route 17. Visit the battleship North Carolina followed by lunch and shopping in historic Wilmington, NC, about an hour north on Route 17. For the ultimate trip back into history, visit Charleston about 2 hours south and include a harbor cruise out to Fort Sumter and a carriage ride through the city. If time permits, include a visit to some of the historic houses and grand plantations.

Our Condo at Water Pointe 1 is located in the Windy Hill section of North Myrtle Beach. It is conveniently located to many large attractions like Barefoot Landing which hosts tons of shopping, restaurants, golfing, the Alabama Theater, Alligator Adventure, and The House of Blues. Also close by is Myrtle Beach Mall and The Tanger Outlets. Within walking distance, the family may also enjoy water sports such as parasailing, banana boat rides, and bicycling at Atlantic Watersports.

Perfect Vacation!

Our vacation began with a search for a Myrtle Beach Condo. I never thought I would be able to find such a great place! The location could not have been better and it was right on the beach with a beautiful view. Very clean and filled with all the ammenties you would have in your own home. Barb was wonderful to work with. Responded promptly to all my questions and was very easy to work with. We will be sure to contact her next year!! Thank you Barb!

Wonderful Vacation Rental

We've stayed in this unit on several occasions and have found it to be very clean and well equipped. The master bedroom has been updated with curtains which help block the morning sun. This area is a wonderful location for getting to restaurants and local entertainment. The Myrtle Beach area has currently been voted the best beach in the US. We would highly recommend this condo and this area for a relaxed vacation.

waterpointe1 and its great location

It was a great area and close to everything. The condo was nice and had alot of good qualities. We were only a couple of blocks from barefoot landing, a few miles from the outlets and the mall. We were also only about 15 minutes from Broadway at the beach. Everything was in great working order in the unit. The only problems were that the blinds in the master bedroom was missing a slat and anyone sitting on the balcony could see in and of course the sunlight came in but we were able to temporary fix it. The other thing was some of the younger kids (10 to 16 years old) took over the pools and really made it difficult to enjoy them. But everything else was great.
