About this property

The Ranch House-Luxury Stay-Best Paso Location-Property sleeps up to 8

This meticulously renovated farmhouse sits down an oak-canopied road just off 46 West past some of Willow Creek's best wineries. This ultra special ‘mini residence’ is seeped in lux farm style. 'The Ranch House' has a wrap around covered porch and views of our neighboring vineyards. Enter through the double doors into a great room with vaulted ceilings and large barn fans. The well appointed, full sized kitchen has everything you need to cook your best meals. Included is ample coffee and creamers for relaxing mornings on the veranda overlooking the neighboring vineyards, pasta/sauce, granola, oatmeal, teas and hot cocoa for your convenience, as well as a complementary bottle of wine. Two Cal King en-suites are just off this airy, open room and are decorated in 2 different themes. The en-suite bathrooms have big barn doors, giant showers, and rustic high end vanities, hair products and EO lavender body wash.
Just outside the large, double French doors of your guest quarters is a fire pit, pergola, BBQ, and 'play ground' (horse shoes and croquet).
You have full access to the barn (unless the bedroom is booked) with a pool table, bar and lounge area as well as full kitchen! (we also offer yoga and yoga retreats- inquire if interested).
Hike the 42 acres discovering the views over vineyards, look for the Manzanita, and Enchanted Forests, and other lovely spots. Enjoy a bottle of wine atop several awesome look out points on the property. You can also walk or bike the quiet country road to nearby wineries such as L'Aventure, Austin Hope, Windward, and so many others. Or just sit on the wrap around full covered porch, enjoy a bottle of wine and listen to the hawks circle overhead, the quail flutter or other wild life play their music for you. It is so quiet you can hear the oaks sigh. It truly is magical here.
This wonderful farm originally built in1927 is seeped in a history which includes life as a hunting lodge, lavender farm, horse farm, and aviaries for raising birds. While re-imagining this serene slice of heaven, we repurposed many unique parts such as original board/batten walls, Adelaida stone, barn doors, and other treasures sprinkled throughout the restoration.
Named Farm Blanc et Rouge for 3 reasons. First: This is wine country after all, and we enjoy either white (Blanc) or red (Rouge) wine! Second, the house is white and the barns are red. Finally, I am half French and love my French heritage. I couldn't resist sharing a little French with our guests!
With all the conveniences of short or long term stays, you may want to just stay in for dinner to enjoy the peace and quiet, as we often do.
Hike, bike, sip & savor the stunning views of all 42 acres. 10 min. to downtown Paso, 35 to Cambria. The central coast will sweep you off your feet!
For larger groups or even for 4 couples, please find our 1 bedroom guest residence next door called Le Coop (see #2206953) as well as The Barn (#2527830) with a Cal King bedroom, bathroom and full kitchen.

Combined we can house a group of up to 8.
**I am so sorry we cannot accommodate outside pets due to pet allergies.
**We have a minimum guest age requirement of 12 years please.

Paso Perfect
I did quite a bit of research on Paso lodging prior to our recent stay. Natalie's property - The Ranch House, looked intriguing for our party - wife and I plus our son and his wife. The location near town but secluded in the country, which was a big draw. The layout was perfect! Large great room/kitchen plus two master suites with their own bathrooms. We sat out by the fire pit every evening and grilled for dinner one night during our stay Everything was top notch! Natalie and her husband Glen were gracious hosts who live on the property but were "invisible" unless you needed them. Natalie was very kind and provided fresh eggs during our stay. Honestly you can't find a better location and home for your stay in Paso

Epic
I don’t know where to begin. First, Natalie and Glen are incredible hosts and really go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable. There was so much attention to detail inside our accommodations, and outside the property feels like a sanctuary. We enjoyed having our coffee on the porch while watching birds and squirrels start their days. Natalie is very attentive and has great suggestions for wineries, restaurants and all things “Paso”. Close to downtown restaurants and shops, yet still has the feel of being out in the country. We cannot wait to go back! Highly recommend!

Perfect Getaway for 20th Anniversary
This property is spectacular. It’s so peaceful, nestled right next to a beautiful vineyard all by itself, but still close to downtown and countless wineries. The Ranch House is beautifully decorated with so many cool details. Natalie was very helpful, providing us with many local recommendations that we enjoyed. She even brought us fresh hard boiled eggs and muffins one morning! We loved spending our anniversary week here at Farm Blanc et Rouge and would love to come back someday!

Incredible stay....
We had an incredible stay. Natalie gave us amazing winery recommendations and they were spot on for what we wanted to experience. Also spoiled us with fresh eggs and warm, yes warm banana muffins in the morning! I can't tell you how quiet and peaceful the property is and surrounding area. We took hikes, enjoyed gorgeous views, we sat by the fire pit at night and we played pool in the amazing red barn. There are simply no details spared inside and out. Just stunning!! My only complaint we weren't there longer!! There is something about staying at this property that puts you at peace. Thank you to Natalie and Glen for an amazing time. We loved it and WE WILL BE BACK! You have new friends now! :)

A perfect stay!
We had an amazing stay at The Ranch House at Farm Blanc Et Rouge. Natalie is a wonderful host - we were greeted with a bottle of wine when we arrived and fresh muffins/eggs were delivered the next morning. The Ranch House is well appointed with comfy beds and spa like bathrooms. Highly recommend staying here!

My husband and I dreamed of one day opening a bed and breakfast. We opted to offer a vacation rental with a full, gourmet kitchen instead so you can have meals as needed or relax ‘at home’ and cook for friends.
We created a place we've always dreamed of staying in. We hope we thought of everything so you can enjoy our farmhouse as much as we do!
We love to meet new people and are happy to be as interactive as you wish. Please always feel free to reach out anytime!
We live on the property in the attached main house portion. Guests have access to all 42 acres and are located in private areas.

Why they chose this property

When we came to this abandoned farm, we immediately fell in love with the location and the serenity it offered. We also love renovating properties and this one spoke to us immediately. We love sharing it with others. Everyone new to the property just says "wow, you sure found yourselves a slice of heaven!" So I had to adopt this tagline. It really is a very special place.

What makes this property unique

Prime wine country location. Everything is within 10 minutes! From spectacular wineries to downtown Paso, to Tin City, to Trader Joe's and Target.
The VERY BEST PART....the peace and quiet and the whispering oaks along with the sound of birds and other wildlife all whilst just a quick trip out of this magical compound to modern conveniences. You will want to hide back here behind the gate with us!
