Golf Details : This great vacation home is walking distance to one of South Florida's premier golf courses: Don Shula's Golf Club. Your stay at the villa comes with greatly reduced fees for this course.

Family-Friendly: Everyone can have their own space in this large home. The fourth bedroom and adjoining 'bonus' room is on the other side of the house for that teenager who craves his/her independence. The game room off the dining room brings everyone together for old-fashioned entertainment, or it can double as a fifth bedroom. Kids never tire of the slide in the pool but if you want to dry them off just walk over to the tree-lined playground on the corner.

Easy access to Miami, luxurious quiet respite

My family and I stayed at this house during the last week of August. The place is in fantastic condition and has great furniture and everything was of good quality. It has an awesome kitchen where we cooked dinner most nights and was also great for quick breakfasts, it was very beautiful. We usually ate out by the pool, with great views of the lake. We enjoyed the pool very much. The house itself is in a very nice, quiet neighborhood and was very easy to get to - the directions from the highway were very easy. We didn't golf but driving to the hotspots in Miami was a breeze. I would definitely recommend this place to familes with kids since there is plenty of space, room to play outside and a playground nearby. Everything is on one level so I would also recommend to folks travelling with grandparents or anyone who has trouble with stairs.

Great stay at the Lakehouse

Eight of us stayed at the Lakehouse for a weekend. The setting on the lake was beautiful. The house was clean, well-maintained and in a nice, quiet neighbourhood with good access to major thoroughfares. Above all, the service we received from Carrie was excellent. She was very accommodating in letting us drop our bags off early and was a pleasure to deal with throughout.

My only minor complaint would be that the 4th bedroom in the converted garage is a little bit stuffy and gets warm at night. Otherwise I would definitely recommend this property and would be happy to work with Carrie again.
Owner's Response: We always go out of our way to accomodate our guests since service is really the only way to make your property stand out from the rest.

What happened in the fourth bedroom was that both air conditioning vents were closed, which is why it felt warm. It's actually the coolest and quietest of the four bedrooms. Our cleaning crew will be sure to open all vents when preparing for a new guest.

Beautiful home, quiet neighborhood, nice owners

We just got back from a week at this beautiful home and had a wonderful time!!! The master bedroom is so spacious and the kitchen is gorgeous with the most magnificent views. We loved the quiet of the neighborhood with easy accessibilty to stores, movies, golf and more. The owners are super nice and accomodating.

Please note that the 3rd bathroom is not currently in use so check on that before you go. We were nine people in our party and there was plenty of room.

This is a beautiful spacious and comfortable home with lots of room, the bedrooms are huge and the master bathroom was FANTASTIC!!! The kitchen is beautiful, the view from the backyard was awesome, the pool was nice and the lake was very pretty. It's a super location very easy access to the highway and lots of other things to do. Thank you so much we had a wonderful time.

Getaway with friends

We stayed at this lakehouse with two other couples and had a great time. The place was exactly as the description states, spacious and relaxing. It was immaculate and had all the amenities of a fine hotel, even a hairdryer for the one my wife forgot! We were surprised the area had so much to offer. One day we golfed at Don Shula's Gulf Club, walked back to the house for a swim and then walked again to one of the best steakhouses I've ever been to, called El Novillo. It did help to have a car to get a lay of the land, though, since the streets are quite curvy. We also enjoyed driving to Key Largo to see the real "African Queen" from the movie. I would recommend paying the extra charge for the midweek cleaning service.
