Built in 1923, this is a charming home located in the historical neighborhood of Southland Park in West Palm Beach. Houses here date from the early part of the 20th century and stand on streets lined with palms, frangipani, and banyan trees.
Rooms are furnished with antiques, windows are hung with silk and velvet drapes, and floors are scattered with oriental rugs. Ceiling fans rotate on the high ceilings and French glass doors increase the sense of space and comfort. The warm earthen hues of the original hardwood floors in the living room and bedrooms and the rustic Mexican tile in the dining rooms are enhanced by the amber light filtered through bamboo shades.
Within the private, fenced-in backyard, a lush garden of palms, bananas, and tropical plants surrounds the heated, blue tiled pool. Amenities such as beach towels, pool toys, barbecue grill and lounge furniture are provided.

My boyfriend and I (and Benji my Maltese) spent two weeks over the Christmas and New Year"s holiday period at this lovely historical home in West Palm Beach. The house was as described and looked even better in person, especially the outdoor area which is spacious and has a lot of very nice outdoor furniture and is beautifully landscaped. It is very relaxing. The house is very comfortable and has some really nice antique furniture. It is very centrally located. Close to I95 and lots of stores on Dixie Highway for anything you might need and a few minutes away from City Center and Kravitz. It is also very close to Palm Beach where we spent a lot of time. The house is well equipped with everything you need. Laima, the owner was very nice to work with and provides lovely touches like fluffy towels very nice linens etc.. We would have come back again in February or March but it was already booked. We will look forward to coming back next year.
I had a very restful ,week long stay here with my family, including grandkids :)
We all loved the house, it was just as described, tastefully furnished and decorated.
Loved the wooden floors, felt spacious yet cozy.
The pool area was soo nice, lots of shade, we relaxed out there a lot,we would rent their again .
This beautiful historical home was perfect for our family's visit to West Palm Beach. The house was immaculate, calming, and inviting. The owner, Laima, was so sweet and very accommodating to us. The house is located near the inter-coastal and minutes away from shopping. It has all of the latest amenities as well. I highly recommend this home to anyone wanting to stay in the area. We look forward to renting from this owner again.
We had a wonderful time staying at this beautifully decorated, well-equipped home. The heated pool was one of the highlights; we used it several times each day. The location is just close enough to local attractions without being too close to downtown WPB. I rode my bicycle along the Lake Worth promenade every morning and I highly recommend it.
So glad we returned to this home again. It was as clean and comfortable as I remembered, and the pool area is especially lovely. There were lots of easy to get to WPB activities in early December. I plan a third stay same time next year.
We loved everything about this house. It's well located, charmingly decorated, and well-equipped. We especially enjoyed the patio/pool area for morning coffee and relaxing in the evening. It's in the Antiques Row area and just a few minutes from Clematis Street, downtown, beaches, and all the local attractions. We'll definitely want to stay here the next time we have a get-away week in Florida.
Located close to the Intracoastal Waterway just 7 minutes from Palm Beach and 5 minutes from City Center in downtown West Palm Beach
