THE LANDINGS...AWESOME VIEWS, SERENITY AND HISTORY!

Our much anticipated vacation started out badly when the first leg of our flight was cancelled due to mechanical failure. Being a very busy travel weekend, we were unable to get another flight to St Croix that day and had to head back home and re-plan everything. Not wanting to lose one precious day of vacation, I called The Landings' property manager, Tom Pinchbeck, to explain our situation and ask to change our arrival and departure date. Fortunately, the next Sunday was open. Then I got our flights re-scheduled Sunday to Sunday, the charter flight, and then the rental car all changed. There were many more travel woes the next day but eventually, we arrived on St Croix to a smiling Tom Pinchbeck with the rental car rep. Tom helped me retrieve our luggage while my husband signed the contract for the rental car. Tom led us to the villa and showed us all the need-to-know details then led us to the nearest food store to get some provisions. The Landings is so beautifully furnished and the next morning, we awoke to the amazing views of Salt River and the Caribbean. There were no obstructions as the property borders on a national park and there was so much lush greenery that separated us from the sea. The villa is very private yet so convenient to so many island destinations. It is equipped and stocked with so many things a vacationer needs. I cannot say enough good about this villa or Tom Pinchbeck who was at our beck and call for all our requests. Would we rent again? You bet! St Croix is a wonderful island with so much to do and such wonderful people. Feel confident that renting The Landings will give you an awesome island experience.

My husband as well as my sister and her husband stayed here in February and cannot say enough how much we loved this villa. The location and the decor were so much better than we had imagined . There is everything you need to relax and enjoy yourself right here without going anywhere. We have friends who live on the island and they were amazed that we had found this place online the first time out. It is so serene and beautiful. We would spend the day at the beach and exploring the island and then come back and swim in the pool and have cocktails on the patio overlooking the Salt River Bay. Can't say enough how incredible the view is and how peaceful! We felt like we were miles from everything even though we were actually fairly close to restaurants grocery stores, etc... Tom PInchbeck is a gem as well as a very patient man with answering all our questions and needs. We hope to be able to go back someday and do it all over again. Five stars from all of us! When my wife and I choose the Landings for our vacation rental we were looking for a quiet out of the way place to stay on St. Croix. The Landings was exactly the perfect place for us. The house is very well maintained and beautifully decorated and very well appointed. We were perfectly located to explore the whole island very easily.We found getting around on St. Croix to be fairly easy because of good roads (for the Caribbean that is) and quite polite driving habits. The lack of road signs as well as business signs was a little of a hinderance but all in all we loved the Island and the Landings.
