Gulfview Townhouse unit 1, located on 5th Avenue in Holmes Beach on a very quiet cul de sac, just a short stroll to the emerald waters of the Gulf of Mexico and only a block from 25 shops and restaurants featuring at least six unique cuisines. This intimate, four unit complex features a heated pool, BBQ area with a 'Tiki hut' picnic table as well as undercover parking. Enjoy a coffee or meal in the fresh air on either of the two porches overlooking the pool. The kitchen, dining and living room are combined in a great room style, which creates an easy, spacious feel. It's been recently updated with new furniture including a 42-inch flat screen TV and two 19-inch flat screen TV's. Wireless Internet and free domestic long distance calling for your convenience. Close to Publix Supermarket: Publix Supermarket is only a two minute walk from this vacation property. Take out salads, fresh fruit, frozen dinners, ice-cream, beach supplies, sunscreen products are readily available along with everything else you would expect to be available at a large supermarket. Also restaurants, drug store and hardware stores in same location. A wonderful convenience! .

Free Trolley: Manatee County Area Transit operates Free Trollies throughout the Island. The free Trolley is fun to ride. It runs all day through 10p.m. The closest stop is at Publix Supermarket. Bus runs every 20 minutes. You can get on and get off trolley any where throughout the Island. Ride it soon after arrival and 'see the Island'.

Need a Bike? Need a Sunset Viewing Location?: Seeing the Island on a bike is a wonderful way to experience the relaxed, island paradise. Bikes can be rented at Beach Bum. They will deliver the bikes to you and pick them up. They have all kinds of neat stuff to rent! Don't forget to visit Cafe on the Beach - a 3 minute walk or ride your bike. (It is part of the Manatee County Park.) They have seating on the beach, play equipment for children, volley ball, picnic area, live entertainment all day and of course powdery-soft white sandy beach and azure blue water. An established routine on the island is for everyone to make their way to the beach just before sunset to view the awesome sunsets. This location is excellent for doing just that while eating a snack and watching the children play. Consider calling Jack Elka Photography and have him take a family photo - a portrait by the Sea with a spectacular sunset background. He is very good, tell him June set you!
