Great Rental Value in Vail Valley

Rental property offers an exceptional value given the size of the until, amenities (comfortable beds & well stocked kitchen) and proximity to Vail ski resort. Great unit for either 1 large family or 2 smaller families vacationing together. No need for a vehicle once you arrive at the unit... this is a big plus because you'll pay a premium to park at Vail - no such thing as free parking before 3:00 PM. The free Vail Transportation Authority has a stop that's less than 300 yards from the entrance to the development.
A couple of caveats or best advice should you decide to stay at this property. In my mind, taking all these things into consideration still does not detract at all from the exceptional value this property offers:
1. Bus stop for property is the last one on the East Vail line. This can be both good and bad. Great - if there's room for your group, because the bus goes straight on to Vail Village at that point. Bad - if it's prime ski season and the bus/buses are full by the time they arrive at this final stop. If you're a die-hard skier and want to make 1st tracks no problem. It becomes more problematic for those heading out between 8 to 9 in the AM. To guarantee a place on the bus, you're better off walking a 1/4 mile up Frontage Rd. and getting on the bus at the Booth Falls stop and taking the bus route through all of East Vail (an extra 20 minutes before you arrive at Vail Village, but at least you're guaranteed seating).
2. The walkway up to the unit is fairly steep and narrow and not conducive to those with health issues or disabilities. If you're visiting Vail for the skiing and boarding, then look at this as a way to get acclimated to the altitude and prepare your body for the winter activities.
