House, 6 Bedrooms + Attached Unit, 5 Baths, (Sleeps 19-23)

Fabulous vacation property just 1 1/2 blocks to the beach. The home features a main residence with 5 bedrooms on three floors and 4 full bathrooms. A Guest Apartment is on the ground floor with 1bedroom/1 bath. This unit can be rented seperately or with the main residence.

THIS HOME IS VERY WELL MAINTAINED! All of the furniture, bedding, fixtures and finishes are less than three years old! The main residence features a living room/dining room, new kitchen, fully enclosed screen porch, a second family room/loft area with TV, five bedrooms and four full bathrooms. There are private decks on each floor; two with partial ocean views.

Also available is a ground floor guest apartment. This apartment features a large living room, eat-in kitchen and a bedroom with two queen beds.

Main Residence:

First Floor: Living Room/Dining Room, Screen Porch, Kitchen, Bedroom (with Queen Size Bed) and a full bathroom.

Second Floor: Three Bedrooms (2 with Queen Beds and the Master with a King Bed) a full bathroom for the two bedrooms and a private bathroom and walk-in closet for the master bedroom.

Third Floor: Family room/loft with a sleeper sofa, love seat, TV and a private deck. One large bedroom with three full size beds and one twin bunk bed, a full bathroom and private deck.

Guest Apartment:

Ground Floor: Living Room(sleeper sofa), Eat-In Kitchen, Bedroom (with 2 Queen Size Beds) and a full bathroom.

I HAVE A WEEK MINIMUM RENTAL IN JUNE, JULY AND AUGUST AND A THREE-NIGHT MINIMUM RENTAL THE REST OF THE YEAR (EXCLUDING HOLIDAYS). THIS APPLIES TO BOTH THE MAIN HOUSE AND THE GUEST APARTMENT.

Lots of room!

I chose this house for its size and was not disappointed. All 18 of us had no trouble with the space. I loved the First floor of the main house (not ground floor), the pictures do not do it justice. I love the screened in porch and it was super clean and very well maintained. I will mention however there was NOT a DVD player nor a stereo system. It was listed on the amenities so just a little disappointed. I had no time to watch movies anyway so no big deal. I also will mention that the bathroom in the master on 2nd floor of main house the water could only be turned on to shower mode not to take a bath which was a little annoying.
Also I think the whole house could use new sets of pillows in the bedrooms. I am weird about pillows and they need to be cleaned just as much as sheets etc. and replaced more frequently in my opinion. I did think the carpet and bathrooms were very clean which I am very picky about and I was pleased. All of my guests were very happy with the accommodations. I will mention that the view in front of the house is not the best. There is a view from higher floors but still not as beautiful as this house deserves. I liked the outdoor seating around the house and we had plenty of room. The kitchen was great and had all the items we could need. I would recommend this house to anyone who needs this kind of space. Such a quick walk to the beach and right by shops and restaurants. Great location. Also plenty of trash bins and recycling which was great!
Maybe newer, nicer photos would show off this property more as it was beautiful, more than the pics now can show!

Owner's Response: Thank you for the review of my home. We do try and maintain it and I am grateful that you appreciated it. I am assuming that the bath issue was with the master bedroom bath tub. I will contact my property manager and have the problem corrected. I do apologize about the lack of a DVD player and stereo. There should be one for each television; I will make sure they are added back into the unit. Thanks again for the review.

If there were an option to give 10 stars, I would. My husband, myself, and four year old stayed in the main house portion of this house because the guest apartment was occupied at the time. We LOVED this place. I can't believe it received poor reviews before. The porch decks/balconys on the second, third, and fourth level are amazing and you can see the sunset from INSIDE the living room. We ate on the balcony for breakfast and lunch and most dinners. We have never been to Tybee Island before and we can't wait to return. We want to stay here again so much and we will do everything we can to set aside the money to. It is WORTH it!!!! The owner was extremely cordial and was very pleasurable to work with. The house was clean and had everything you need for cooking and linens. Rooms are very spacious with much closet space. We only used two of the bedrooms because it was just the three of us but this place would easily fit 12-14 if not more. The location is great as the walk is just about four minutes to the south pier on Tybee Beach. Thank you so much for our stay!

Big house, great location....Tybee Island is Great!!!

I was a bit worried about this place after reading one of the reviews, so i called the owner to discuss my concerns. He assurred me that everything was fixed and that some of the items in the "not so good" review were incorrect. Everything in the place worked fine, the whole place was clean and the house was in very good condition. This place is big, lots of parking and very convenient to the entire downtown. We had three generations of family in the house and felt like there was a good amount of space to be together when we wanted and seperated when we needed!
I thought it was odd that the owner made us book the property through a management company instead of directly through them, but it turned out to be fine. The management company is right on the island and very convenient for picking up keys and giving us some information about the island.
Overall it was a great place to visit....We hope to return next year!

We do our best to keep the house clean and well maintained. We find it better for all parties to use a professional property manager on the island to coordinate all of the bookings, facilitate the cleaning and repair broken/damaged items. We live in Delaware so it’s important for us to have a point of contact on the island.

We rent this place every year... keep it up and we will be back!

I have rented this house for a family vacation 3 times in the past three years. The house is very big and well maintained. Each spring we rent and the place is usually clean and well stocked. I had trouble with a washing machine on one visit and called the management company by the end of the day, the washer was fixed and fine. The place is very open, but the top floor gets warm (we just use the a/c up there more). There is usually at least 16 of us and we all have pleanty of space. Nice place to rent...keep it up and we will be back next year! (I just wish they allowed pets)

I am sorry about the pets, but if we let one person bring in a pet (no matter how well behaved) we would need to disclose it to all other renters in the event of a pet allergy. We have a local property management company and we try to keep the place in great condition. We will keep it up, so we look forwards to many more years of your business!

First of all let me say we had a lot of fun in Tybee. The house had a few problems that they should take care of.
1. The stove on the main house only works of you prop a chair in front of the door to keep it closed, once we figured that out we were able to cook.
2. The water pressure is really bad. If someone downstaris takes a shower or turns on the water there will be no water upstairs. That is a problem when you have 18 people in the house and you have rented the entire property and everyone tries to shower to go out someone is going to be left soapy and dry.
3. The bedrooms upstairs in the main house are hot at night, downstairs cool.
4. The refrigerator upstairs and downstairs do not cool very well. They will keep your drinks a little above room temperature but not cold.
5. Ceiling fans do not work in most of the rooms.
6. If you try and use the microwave and cofee pot at the same time it will trip the breakers in the house.
7. The oulets in the uperfloor do not work on one side of the house.
8. The outside grill did not work it was broken and we could not cook on it. Well we called the rental facility and was told there was nothing they could do, so we went and bought a grill enjoy it.
The rental property facility is there for two reasons to take your calls and take the money. I feel for the amount of money we all spend on rentals the facility should have the basic working items.
Now this property is great because of how close it is for shopping and the beach is sort of close but still had fun here.
The property was not bad but not good either, I feel it was a little pricy for all the small problems it has.
Owner's Response: I have researched these complaints and would like to respond:
I have a very reputable property manager on the Island; they responded to every issue with the exception of the water pressure.
1. The stove in the main house is working properly. The property manager had a service company come into repair it, but the repairman found nothing wrong.
2. The water pressure in the house is a problem if all 5 showers are used at the same time. This is an issue on the entire Island, not specific to my property.
3. The A/C unit for the top floor is less than 18 months old. The house us very open and the heat rises, if the unit is set at a proper temp, it properly cools the top floor.
4. The refrigerator is 3 years old and was serviced right after this review was posted.
5. All of the ceiling fans work if you pull the chain/switch.
6. We never had an issue with tripping breakers, but it will be addressed.
7. Two outlets next to the beds are disconnected; there are 4 other outlets in this room that work properly.
8. There is a charcoal grill for people to use, please do not take the neighbors grill from their yard and use it!

I have between 15 to 20 rentals per year in this house, not to mention that I use the house for my own vacations. In the five years of renting, I NEVER had a complaint like this. I would think that my rental record speaks for itself!
