Wonderful Vacation, Beautiful Home

Our family and friends stayed at this home the last two weeks of August. We had a fantastic time. Visited wineries (lots), spent a day shopping in downtown TC,where we got some great bargains, went to the sand dunes and rented a boat for the day on beautiful Lake Michigan. The local restaurants were excellent, both formal and casual. We also picked blueberries and peaches at a very close farm and made some wonderful desserts. The home was beautiful, extremely clean and was nicer than we expected. It was great for when our granddaughters came -- settled in like it was home. The owner always got back to us in a timely fashion and gave us great tips on all the fun things we could do while we were there. I would recommend this property to anyone. We hope we can come back next year!

Great Michigan Vacation

We had always wanted to visit the Great Lakes region. We went to Mackinaw Island and then spent a week in the Traverse City area in this house. It was the perfect location for exploring this area. The house was very comfortable with great accommodations for our group of five adults and 2 small children. We especially enjoyed watching the sunset from the front porch, campfire on the beach across the road, and spreading out in the spacious house. Some reading, some napping, some watching tv. Space for everyone to get together or get away. Well equipped kitchen so we didn't have to eat out much. Loved the area and plan to come back. Knew it was a great trip cause kids didn't want to leave.

Just got home from our stay, what a wonderful home, and a great experience!! The website gives just a glimpse of the home, you need to experience the rest and you won't be disappointed!! The views were spectacular from any floor or room of the home!! Early one morning we watched a deer eating its breakfast in the backyard from the kitchen window, what a sight to see!!! Our daughter took naps on the porch swing, the breeze off the bay just cradled her asleep!!! We spent several days on the beach, had a couple of evening camp fires on the beach, just spent quality family time together. The home was wonderfully decorated and well furnished, something to meet the needs of everyone. The outside shower (genius idea) is great!!! Would definately saty again and recommend to others!!!

The listing does not do this home justice. It was better than what we could have hoped. It did not have a lot of pictures so we were not sure how the bedrooms would be. Once we got there we were pleasantly suprised to find a wonderful master bedroom with sitting area and bathroom. The other two bedroom were also very nice with plenty of space. We have a family of four and had plenty of room to spread out and relax. The house was very clean and well kept. We made our reservations within a month of our arrival time and Dan was very easy to deal with. He quickly returned calls and texts. I have family in the traverse city area and had them over, and they were equally impressed. I would definetly consider a return vacation and would reccomend this house to anyone. We enjoyed the private beach front with fire pit, Moomers ice cream and the state theatre in downtown.

Memorial Day 2013

We were very fortunate to find & rent your home for Memorial Day weekend. This is a special place. The home was immaculate, with a great location, and perfect views of those West Michigan sunsets you have to see to believe. The beach front fire pit & outdoor shower were the icing on the cake. The homeowner was extremely attentive, and eager to make sure we had everything we needed. While the information presented on VRBO is accurate, this home is much nicer than photos can demonstrate. We created lifelong memories running the Bayshore Marathon, beachside campfires, paddle boarding on West Bay, and enjoying the beautiful sights of Old Mission Peninsula. Thank you for providing an exceptional experience all around.
