Boston Condo Rental Photos and Description

Condo, Studio, 1 Bath, (Sleeps 2-3)

An excellent alternative to pricey hotels, our fully-furnished North End fourth floor walk-up condo has ben refurbished to the highest standards, while maintaining the charm. It has a kitchen with granite countertops, where you can prepare a complete meal. The full-size bathroom with tile tub/shower, and tile floor, has a granite-topped vanity. The floors in the remainder of the unit are refinished oak. Furniture includes a very comfortable Queen Murphy bed with a new Tempur-Pedic mattress, a queen state of the art sleeper sofa that doesn't have bars or springs, a dining table for two, and a wall mounted 32-inch plasma TV and a DVD player. There is cable tv and wireless internet. The unit is very clean and well-maintained. Iron, ironing board, alarm clock radio, and hair dryer are provided. This condo is perfect for 2 adults and 2 young children!

Located a block off the Freedom Trail and around the corner from the North Church, our condo is the perfect spot if you want to be in the center of the action, but on a quiet, safe, short street. Walk the cobblestone streets like Paul Revere and America's ancestors, or take a trek on the new Rose Fitzgerald Kennedy Greenway which connects to many sights including shopping new (Banana Republic, Crate and Barrel, Gap, Ann Taylor, Macy's) and old, including vintage old world shops. Also nearby are Copp's Hill Burying Ground, Paul Revere's House, and the Bunker Hill monument. The T, Boston's public transportation system, nearby and easy to use, will take you quickly to outlying areas, including Harvard and Cambridge. We are within easy walking distance of most Boston attractions and are a block away from Boston Harbor with its many restaurants featuring chowder and local fish dishes.

Boston's North End is a diner's mecca, with more than 100 restaurants and bakeries only a short distance from our condo. Whether you desire authentic Italian or more contemporary dining, you can find it all in the North End.

We are an easy commute to Boston's Logan International Airport as well as to Amtrak stations. It is just a ten-minute cab ride from the Airport and a ten-minute ride to the Amtrak Trains to New York. The 'T' goes to both. You do NOT need a car to get around the city if you are staying in the North End.

We usually have a five-night minimum, but if there are four or fewer days available between bookings, we will rent for fewer nights, depending upon the number of days available. Please send an inquiry or email us if you have questions.

PLEASE LOOK AT OUR AVAILABILITY CALENDAR FOR AVAILABLE DATES. OUR CALENDAR IS ALWAYS UP TO DATE.

About The Owner

We are retired high-school teachers who live in Tallahassee, Florida. This year, we celebrated our 44th wedding anniversary. Our son and daughter-in-law, daughter and son-in-law and grandchildren live in Tallahassee, also. We love to travel and enjoy family and friend time.

The Owner purchased this condo in 2008

Why The Owner chose Boston

We visited Boston to celebrate Wedding Anniversary #39 and fell in love with the city. We stayed in the North End, where we bought our condo, and could swear that we were in Italy when we walked the neighborhood. Boston offers so much history and so many sights to see. The food was delicious and the ability to walk almost the entire city appealed to us. There are so many different activities to keep us busy.

What makes this condo unique

We enjoy the ability to get out and walk the city, seeing so many historic places in the process. We have visited during all seasons of the year and find it to be beautiful in each. There are so many restaurants and bakeries within minutes of the condo. Somehow, I never cook, which suits me fine! The T is an excellent subway system; we don't need a car. I suppose the excitement of the city is our favorite part.

Couldn't Have Been Better!

Couldn't Have Been Better!

I felt compelled to pat myself on the back for making such a great decision in renting this 'property'. My daughter and I actually "high-fived" each other upon entering the apt. We had gone to Boston for our annual mother/daughter springbreak trip. Chicago,D.C., and the Poconos were our previous destinations and were wonderful, but having this condo in Boston made our stay there extra special. There were absolutely no surprises awaiting us upon arrival or throughout the week. Cheryl gave a rather detailed description of where to walk, the duration of the walks, activities or sites to see along the way, and of course, places to eat.
We flew to Logan from Pittsburgh. The owners provided EXACT details on the shuttle and train and on foot to get us to their condo. It was truly stress-free. I would really NOT want to take a vehicle to Boston because the streets are very narrow, the parking--IF available--is expensive and inconvenient, and it is tremendously easy to walk to many destinations. We took the train to Cambridge to shop and to go to the Museum of Fine Arts (which is free on Wed. evenings btw).
We ate out at times, but also ate in. The kitchen was stocked well. Sometimes after walking so much in one day, we would get take-out and go back to eat in the condo late at night. It was restful. We found that we would go to 'Going Bananas' on Salem St to buy our grocery things. They had great produce and pre-made salads that were perfect. Unfortunately, we had to pass 'Bova's' Bakery on the way back to the condo. They have breads and desserts to die for. So, we couldn't resist--AND they are open 24 hrs, 365 days a year!
We loved Salem St and it is so so close to the apt.
One thing we would say about other sites is, if you plan to climb the Bunker Hill Monument, beware! Walking there was simple. Going up and coming down were a 'piece of cake'. The next a.m., my calves were unhappy:) Advil was my friend.
The owner's were great. They answered any question I had prior to and after booking. I never needed to contact them while we were there because everything was perfectly in order. The keys arrived on time and they made returning them extremely easy, also. I forgot my phone charger and contacted Carlos. He immediately assured me the 'cleaning' person had found it and would return it to me.
We would definitely stay here again and have told several friends they should too! The property, the owners, the area, the food, the sites....couldn't have been better

Owner's Response: Rita, we are so glad that you and Lindsay had a fun mother/daughter spring break and hope you return to Boston again soon. It makes us happy to know that other people can enjoy Boston the way we do! I think it is totally understandable that one can not walk by Bova's or Mike's Pastry and not partake of the goodies on display there! We always walk it off when we are there. Yes, the Bunker Hill monument is impressive. The view is beautiful. And, yes, it is a strenuous walk to the top! Thanks so much for your review and we were delighted to have you as our guests.

Everything they said it was, no surprises

We are on our last of 6 nights here in Boston. This rental is absolutely perfect. We cooked all of our meals here; the kitchen is FULLY equipped. We used the wifi, did laundry, and stored bikes in the basement. After a day of sightseeing it was nice to come back to a comfortable place. Everything is SO close. If you forget something cvs is close by.Every night we walked to Hanover street for a sorbet and coffee. The neighborhood is very safe. If you are planning a trip to Boston and you want a great place to stay this is it.

Perfect location. We felt like one of the locals. We walked everywhere. Darling condo, suited my husband and I perfectly. Tons of nearby restaurants. The owners are wonderful, they laid everything out in detail making it so very easy. We gave them the highest rating for a reason. It couldn't have gone any smoother. We are looking forward to staying there again. It truly was a wonderful experience.

Great condo, excellent location, highly recommend

Very nice condo in the North End, like being in Italy except everyone speaks English. Great neighborhood to wander in, felt very safe, could walk almost anywhere plus subway (North Station) less then 10 min walk. Condo was lovely, updated, everything as expected. Small kitchen with everything you need for a nice homey stay. I slept on the pull out couch which was surprisingly comfortable. Very clean, everything in working order, building well kept but very old (1800's maybe) and the stairs can be a challenge especially with luggage. Narrow and a bit winding. Owners were extremely nice and very responsive. Had issues with the internet access and they called me right away to see if they could help fix. Would stay here again in a minute!

Great location! Will definitely rent again.

This was a perfect location in Boston's North End. The condo was very clean and homey. The stairs may be a bit much for some folks as there is not an elevator to access the condo - this was not a big deal for us. The neighborhood was really safe and beautiful. We were literally steps from Hanover Street and all of the great restaurants (make reservations!) as well as the freedom trail. We did the Super Duck Tour and it was well worth the money. You can also stay on the trolly and get off at stop 3, which is close to the condo.

Since I travel a few times a year to Boston for work, I am looking forward to staying here again if it is available. The owners are very pleasant to work with, and gave me peace of mind, as I had some reservations on renting at first. It was perfect and we loved it!!

Very nice place and amazing location. Looks exactly like the photos. The owners are great and very easy to work with. The murphy bed was extremely comfortable and easy to manage. We used a website called "spothero.com" for discounted parking. There's a parking garage 2 blocks away where we just left the car for our entire visit. Boston is a very walkable city. There are many great restaurants (and bakeries!) near the condo. It was hard to decide where to eat every night! We thoroughly enjoyed our first visit to Boston and if we ever go back, we'd love to rent this property again.
