Mountain View Pond is a favorite Cozy split oak log cabin overlooking idyllic private pond with spectacular views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Quiet get-away surrounded by stately oak trees at the base of Massanutten Mountain. Within “a stone’s throw” of the incomparable Shenandoah River and a scenic 30-minute drive to Shenandoah National Park and minutes to Luray Caverns.
Enjoy ultimate peace and tranquility in the pond-front gazebo, listening to a chorus of birds (accompanied by bullfrogs!) or sizzling food on the adjoining barbecue deck. Or sit around a large crackling bonfire on the newly constructed fire pit, (firewood provided!).
Inside the cabin are cathedral ceilings for a spacious open feeling, beautiful oak flooring throughout, rustic knotty pine walls, and a large stone gas fireplace (for an instant cozy fire!). Enjoy the modern fully equipped kitchen and dining area with pond/mountain views, or “chill out” on the large covered deck overlooking the pond.
