Trendy, modern and bright, one bedroom apartment (for up to three people), with roof terrace, in the heart of the trendy Pijp district of Amsterdam.
The open plan living area has lots of light, thanks to the many windows and
simple, contemporary decor. There is a large sofa (which converts into a single sofa bed), and a flat screen television, with cable. The modern and very well equipped kitchen would be a welcome addition to anyone's home. Equipment includes a fridge, oven, microwave, hob and even a dishwasher. There is also a large dining table with four chairs. The bedroom, with double bed, is simple but comfortable. A large mirrored wardrobe provides ample storage space for all your belongings. The bathroom is well finished and has a sink and shower. A very welcome addition to this lovely apartment is the roof terrace - a great place to hang out, enjoy a glass of wine, and take in the wonderful views across Amsterdam. A great place to escape and rewind. To summarise, a great apartment, with all modern conveniences, in a top location. You really can't go wrong here!
This apartment is located on floor 4.
This apartment is situated in the Pijp district of Amsterdam - a vibrant, diverse neighbourhood that really reflects the essence of Amsterdam. Home to many students, young creatives and professionals, this really is an area of Amsterdam on the up. With the famous outdoor market, the Albert Cuyp, on your doorstep, and a myriad of cafés, restaurants and boutiques, you definitely won’t get bored. And for all you foodies out there - it’s not called the kitchen of Amsterdam for nothing! Perhaps you enjoy a beer or two? Visit the Heineken brewery and learn how it is made (and taste a few beers, of course!)
If you fancy a break from the hustle and bustle, the Amstel River and beautiful Sarphati Park are nearby, for that quiet escape.
The rest of Amsterdam is also easily accessible, either by foot, if you like to wander, or by tram. Visit the Palace on Dam Square, the hectic Kalverstraat
shopping street or the Museumplein, home to the Van Gogh Museum, the newly
reopened Stedelijk Museum of Modern Art and the Rijksmuseum with its collection
of world renowned masterworks. Something for every taste!
For those of you who want to venture even further afield, hop on one of the many trams to take you across Amsterdam. The main train station, Central Station, is also just a short tram ride away.
