apartment is perfect for a couple who wants to visit the city but also wants a
relaxing place to stay. With easy access to the city centre and far enough away
from it all, this has the best of both worlds. The studio is on the first floor and contains two comfortable single beds, two
nightstands with elegant lamps, two comfortable chairs, a small balcony
overlooking the garden and a delightful full size picture of blossoms on the
wall, giving the room a very fresh feel. The bathroom is remodelled and
generous in size. It is fitted out with a toilet, a designer washbasin, a large
mirror with chic lighting, a spacious shower and a bathtub. For your comfort
there is linen, towels, a Nespresso machine, a fridge, a kettle, central heating
and a hi-speed Internet connection. Breakfast is every other day and on request, the host, will prepare lunch, supper or dinner downstairs, served on a charming traditional dining table. From here you also have access to a beautiful garden, where you can chill and relax after a hard days sightseeing over a glass of wine. A perfect hide away for a fantastic weekend or week to explore all the good things that Amsterdam has to offer. After a long day shopping or visiting musea it is a wonderfull place to freshen up and explore the many restaurants on walking distance.

The apartment, on the Hoofdweg in West, is situated by the Overtoom. Between the beautiful Rembrandt park and Vondelpark tranquility and nature is literally a stone’s throw
away. Also only a short walk away is the
hustle and bustle of the Hoofddorpplein area, with its many shops and cafés. Venture
a little further to the chique Old South area of Amsterdam, or to the vibrant Kinkerstraat.
The centre of
Amsterdam is only a 10 minute tram or bus ride away (or bike ride, for the more
adventurous among you!) Visit the�� Palace
on Dam Square, the hectic Kalverstraat shopping street or the Museumplein, home
to the Van Gogh Museum, the newly reopened Stedelijk Museum of Modern Art and
the Rijksmuseum, with its collection of world renowned masterworks. Something
for every taste!
For those of you who
want to venture even further afield, the main train station, Central Station,
is easily accessible with one of the many trams/buses that stop in the area.
