I'm not sure I can describe in words how amazing our stay was, but here goes. We had a total of (11) people in the villa and we were never tripping over each other. We all had our own beautiful space. Our bedroom was amazing!! Everything was neat, clean and comfortable. I loved that all (11) of us could sit in the living room, dining room and kitchen, cook a meal and enjoy the view! We had a fantastic Mexican night family meal to include dancing! The pool and hot tub were used daily. One of my favorite things was the 1/2 window in the shower. I could look out over Chocolate Hole every morning while washing my hair. St. John is one of the most amazing places to vacation! This villa is in a fantastic location! It's close to great food and lots of shops! We walked down to the beach and went snorkeling! The view from every room is breathtaking! Anything we needed or wanted the staff was there for us. They were very responsive and courteous. We highly recommend Villa St. John! We will be back!

Amazing Carribean Vacation

We spent a week at Villa St John and had an unforgettable tropical get away! Each couple had a full master suite and the villa was in fantastic shape. The staff was very helpful and responded to our requests immediately. Pool and hot tub were utilized daily with plenty of room for the kids to play and swim. The kitchen was perfect for shared meal prep and the great room allowed our large group to congregate together indoors and around (too much!) food. We highly recommend the Villa to other groups, especially couples travelling together.

Recommended for: Age 55+, Pet-friendly, Girls Getaway, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, People with Disabilities, Romantic Getaway

We did not have a great stay at this villa. There were water issues (no water) for three of our days and we had to deal with workers coming in and out. The villa is in need of some TLC and even the caretaker mentioned this to us several times during our stay. Overall, we wouldn't recommend this to others, and I really don't like to have to say that, but I wouldn't want anyone else having to experience the issues we did which made it less than a relaxing vacation.

Owner's Response: I am truly sorry that your group did not enjoy your stay. It was unacceptable that the water pump went out on your first day at the villa. We refunded the guests 10% of their rental because our maintenance staff was unable to repair the problem quickly enough. The guests did have water in the small villas two bathrooms and kitchen, however, we realize that is not good enough. We had the water repaired within 24 hours. We have replaced the maintenance team as we felt they should have had a backup pump at the villa for emergencies (we now do!). We have spent the last two weeks doing a personal inspection and inventory and making sure we have a backup of every mechanical part. However, this party seemed to enjoy the private massages around the pool, the personal chef, and the entire remainder of their stay. However, I truly feel awful that any quest did not have a spectacular stay at our villa and hopefully we have addressed every issue.

Can’t say enough about Villa St. John! We had 6 couples stay there the first week of November and it was perfect for our group. It was nice to have the big bedrooms and all with a great view. We used the pool every afternoon and hung out on the living areas at night. Location was very convenient to Cruz Bay and a great starting place every morning to explore St. John. We would recommend to anyone looking for an upscale house to rent in St. John.

Everything we were looking for

This home was fantastic for us as we had 6 couples and we all wanted to have nice bedrooms. This house and the quest cottage and surrounding grounds were just what we were looking for for. Each bedroom was large , luxurious and private. We spent the first 2 days just hanging out at the house. We were out to lunch but mainly cooked in the kitchen for Dinner and had faboulous meals. We could eat in the fully appointed dining area in or the patio was enough seating for our large group as well. The view from the house was awesome. We rented a boat and circled the whole island of St John and could find our spot easily. The water was a little rough in Feb though, so be careful. We had a tour with a lady that took us, kayaking, snorkeling and a hike over at East End and that was the best day of all, her name was Jennifer but I forget which agency we booked with. Dont miss the burgers at Crazy Legs( out near east end), shopping at Bamboo(n downtown) and Mongoose Village , both have great shops. I always find some unique things in St John. We did have a leak and the power went off once but the service people were right on it, so it was a great experience. We loved our home away from home. Thanks for sharing your home.
