Nearby Beaches:
Miles of pristine, unspoiled shorline and beaches await your exploration. Kepuhi Beach is about three blocks away, and is the locals favorite beach for surfing and boogie boarding. Snorkeling at Dixie Maru Beach is about five miles down the road. Many of the rocky beaches are suitable for surf casting. Fishing gear can be rented from the Molokai Fish & Dive in downtown Kaunakakai. Many beaches are suitable for swimming, and many are not. Please check with the Office or the Resident Manager regarding the suitability of swimming. Much depends on the time of year and surf conditions.
Pool, SPA and Tennis:
Ke Nani Kai is the preeminent Resort on the Island of Molokai, and features a beautiful swimming pool and Heated, Jetted, SPA. There are ample lounges and umbrella tables for guest use. The two Tennis Courts on property were resurfaced and refurbished about five years ago. They are the nicest courts on Molokai, with never a wait for court time. Two tennis raquets are available in the condo, along with tennis balls.
Golf and other activities:
The Kaluakoi Championship Golf Course on Molokai is currently closed. There is an executive golf course located above Kualapuu. It is very casual, and loads of fun. The rates are extremely reasonable. You can walk the very hilly course or you can rent a cart. Either way you'll have loads of fun with magnificent views. Bring your lunch and beverages (including water) as there are no dining or snack facilities available at the course.
Ride the mules, or hike, or fly down to visit the Kalaupapa colony where Father Damien tended to those afflicted with Leprosy prior to the advent of Sulfa Drugs. This is an all day trip, and requires advance reservations. it's a life changing trip, and one which you'll never forget.
