Pictures are misleading!

We stayed here for approx 4 weeks over December. Initially we were very impressed with the contact from the "owner", and we were prepared for basic family accommodation. Basic meaning clean, well maintained and no frills.
On arrival we were extremely unhappy with the condition of the villa and ended up purchasing new linen and cleaning supplies to clean villa. Management company was unhelpful, rude and did not return many calls.
Location is really convenient for WDW.
Lots of shops and restaurants.
Management company was impossible to contact.only available between business hours, mon to Friday. Anything else had to be deemed an emergency by them to deal with, even then our calls to all their numbers went unanswered.
Villa was dirty, make that filthy when we arrived. Hair on the sheets and towels, carpets are stained, kitchen floor stained and oily, furnishings are grubby with a black sheen and stained.
Central air con is really, really noisy.
Lounges are sagging and old.
Many pillows had no pillow protectors.
Towels were stained.
Washer and dryer are old and dirty.
All 3 Toilet brushes were brown with faecal matter. ( I took pictures)
The unit is in functional condition, however it has been neglected and repaired cheaply. Holes in the linoleum were filled with plastic filler, silicone sealant has been used for everything that is broken.
We have contacted the owner and given our feedback. We have been assured that we will be reimbursed for the cleaning costs and time??, but this has yet to occur.
The pictures for this villa are extremely misleading. The owner tried to help but, Ultimately the property mangers did not do their job.
At the end of the day we felt a little mislead and ripped off. Too hard, when all you want is to have a nice vacation without drama. I would not recommend this unit, there are many in this subdivision for the same price and in much better condition.
We have stayed in 3 other rentals in Lindfields area that were brilliantly managed by the owners or property managers. My advice, CHECK REVIEWS!!, no or poor reviews- look elsewhere.
Owner's Response: The guest declined the offer to have the unit cleaned a 2nd time by the management company. I refunded the cost of his cleaning supplies. The management company responsible were dismissed. The property was snapped up by a tour company and can no longer be rented directly from the owner.
