The music festival city of Salzburg is only 25 km away and the lakes and mountains of the Salzkammergut and the Salzburg Lake District are within easy distance and well worth a visit.

Immer wieder ist unsere Familie gern im Brandstattgut; wir fühlen uns dort sehr wohl, weil wir dort sehr verwöhnt werden, die Lage und die Ruhe paradiesisch sind und man sehr viel unternehmen kann. Das Frühstück ist köstlich und die Wohnung sehr gemütlich. Unser Hund ist dort auch gern gesehen. Besonders wichtig für uns ist der Tennisplatz (Ziegen und Hasen schauen zu - herrlich) und daß man im Haus und in einigen Lokalen in der Gegend besonders gut essen kann. Auf jeden Fall ein sehr zu empfehlender Platz, um richtig abschalten zu können.

Wir sind Stammgäste im Brandstattgut schon seit vielen Jahren. Wir genießen die Ruhe und die Gastfreundschaft des Hauses. Es gibt eine eigene webpage, die sehr informativ ist und von der man auch gleich buchen kann. Das Haus ist sehr schön gestaltet, sauber und gepflegt. Es gibt Spielmöglichkeiten für Kinder und man kann von dort aus viele Sehenswürdigkeiten und touristische Gebiete in kurzer Zeit erreichen.
Salzburg ist nicht weit, ebenso der Wolfgangsee und viele andere Seen. Die Gegend ist gut geeignet für Radfahrer. Am Mattsee kann man segeln lernen. Auch für Läufer ist es dort ein Paradies, es gibt ausgewiesene Lauf- und Walkingstrecken mit genauer Kilometrierung und verschiedenen Schwierigkeitsgraden in der Nähe.
Das Objekt ist auch sehr gut geeignet für schöne Familienfeiern. Auch Haustiere sind gern gesehen.
Alles in allem ist das Brandstattgut sehr zu empfehlen..
