Accessed through the Marriott's Los Suenos resort, in Playa Herradura, and overlooking the Gulf of Nicoya. This duplex unit in an exclusive gated community has three bedrooms (2 with king beds and a bunk room with 2 sets of bunk beds) and a queen pull out in upper hall lounge. Sleeps 10. Two Full baths. Downstairs, is a comfortable living room, dining room, full kitchen, half bath and washer and dryer. An outdoor patio hot tub overlooks the beach. Satellite TV. Across the street is a pool shared by 10 units. The complex also offers, near the beach, a large, multi-level pool with a kiddie pool. There is a basketball half court and 2 Tennis courts. Jaco is 2 miles away.

Welcome: As a suggestion, upon arrival, and at your own cost, we can recommend a reliable driver to pick you up at the airport in a large van. Speaks English very well. Depending on your arrival time, he can either drop you off at the condo, or at the car rental agency in Jaco: Budget, Alamo, Enterprise.

For The Active: ATV: Jaco, next to Subway. Ask for Patrick. Zip lines: Canopy Tour. Make a right at blinking light, 3 miles, across the street from the 2nd gas station. Surf lessons: Mauritisio. Playa Jaco: Surfing, swimming, horseback riding Deep sea fishing: Los Suenos Marina: Costa Rica Dreams Sport fishing. If your catch is edible, ask a restaurant to cook it for you! If you don’t want a full day of fishing, ask your captain about a half day of snorkeling at Tortuga Island in the afternoon. Golf at Los Suenos Marriott.

For The Not So Active: Restaurants: Jaco: Caliche’s . Main road, midway down on right hand side. Tsunami Sushi. Il Galeone shopping center, 2nd floor. Across from Wishbone. Sunset view: Villa Calettas. Drinks at sunset. Make a left at blinking light. About 2 miles up on left. El Pelicano: Get the house special. Exit Los Suenos gate and make a right. Los Suenos Marina Village: Bonsai: Great Asian food. Hook Up: Basic hamburgers etc. Lanterna: Italian food Beaches: Manuel Antonio National Park. Really beautiful. Hire a guide to see monkeys, tree sloths, bats, etc. 1 1/2 hr drive. (You can hire Louise to drive if he’s available) Spas: Jaco: Serenity spa. Villa Calettas spa Los Suenos Marriott spa
