Here's why: One of the best rated, least crowded and most beautiful family beaches found anywhere at any price - truly a well-kept secret! Very private, with wonderful water views, decks and very close to the beach (located on Brunswick Ave near Boyd St. - approx. 200 yards...about 1 city block). Beach activities are the main attraction. 9 miles of the most unspoiled, non-commercialized wide beaches in the U.S. Low-key, family oriented island community that is very safe, especially for those with small children. Plenty of excellent dining choices and shopping within a 2 mile radius, many more within a 30 min. drive to either N. Myrtle Beach or Wilmington. Plenty of activities for the kids including water slide, bumper boats, go carts and miniature golf within 2 miles (on mainland across bridge). Over 40 of the best golf courses in the greater Myrtle Beach area are between a 5 to 30 minute drive. Our street is quiet and safe (parallel to main Ocean Blvd), perfect for biking, running or blading.

Groups slightly larger can utilize the sleeper sofa in the great room downstairs.

Notes: Gorgeous landscaping in private backyard with palm trees and cactus. Lie in the hammock and enjoy a nap in our little oasis or grill seafood and enjoy the breeze from the picnic table at ground level. Outdoor H/C shower is refreshing (of course we have indoor showers too but we rarely use them ourselves because the outdoor shower is so great!). Sunsets are amazing from the back decks, particularly from master bedroom.

My family and I were so pleased with our rental...the home afforded us a Home Away from home with wonderful amenities ...the house had fabulous outdoor space with a deck off of each room and a wonderful back to use...the access to the beach was amazing about a minute walk...the photos we saw on line did not do the house justice...I would definitely recommend this house and would consider renting it again

We were delighted with this charming home. It was all we hoped it would be and more. Clean, spacious, well equipped. No more than a minute and a half from the beach. Great view of the ocean. Uncrowded beaches. After years of staying in "resort hotels" at Myrtle Beach, we could hardly wait to arrive, and we were not disappointed. Best beach vacation we've had. We felt safe, we had plenty of room and a private patio. Rob and Cheryl are great and we would recommend this property to anyone.

A wonderful beach getaway

This lovely beach getaway was just perfect for a long weekend away. Rob was pleasent and easy to work with on the phone to set everything up. We were thrilled with the deck views of both the morning sunrise and evening sunset. The house was furnished nicely and had everything we needed. The beach access is close and all the neighbors were very friendly. All in all a perfect weekend for us!

House was clean, in a nice area, close to the beach with ample parking. Beds were comfortable and the new carpeting was lovely. Very good experience. I would definitely go back again.
