Our convenient location on Balboa Island offers a great starting point from which to visit OC's famous attractions; Disneyland, Knotts Berry Farm, Catalina Island, or Laguna Beach. Many visitors will never want to leave the Island - no car is necessary. Walk out on the Balboa Pier and lunch at Ruby's Diner, a 50's Diner with great burgers & shakes, overlooking miles of beautiful sandy beaches. Back at the Cottage it's just a block to Balboa Island's own little Gourmet Grocery Store, Hershey's Market, where you can pick up fresh seafood, steaks, or chicken to grill on our stainless steel gas grill. Hershey's also offers fresh produce, great wines, and necessary items. If you don't feel like cooking you are only steps away to some great local restaurants - Italian, Mexican, Seafood, American, even Swiss.
