This is a nearly-new, fully-chinked, two-story, 12-inch-log home is just 2.5 miles south of downtown Breckenridge. It has 1900 square feet and sleeps 10 comfortably. The master bedroom has custom matching drapes and comforters with tiled private bath and walk in closet. Our 6 person outdoor hot tub is located off the main floor, on a deck nestled in the trees. The fabulous kitchen is fully stocked with spices, etc., tile counters, upscale appliances, eating bar, and every cooking and baking amenity. Our large dining room table easily accommodates 10 people. Three more at the eating bar. The vaulted great room has a cozy gas fire burner in the carpeted, roomy living room with two sofas, 26-inch TV, Pioneer digital surround sound stereo, DVD, CD, and VCR players. And of course it also has cable TV service, and even a fantastic Bose home theatre system! Completely furnished with upscale mountain furniture, this home has numerous antiques, and charming western and antique decor.

The laundry is on the main floor as is the tiled 1/2 bath. Open stairs with bridge walkway accesses the two carpeted oversize second floor guest bedroom suites with plush custom bedding, separate closets, tiled bath, and even an antique claw-foot bath tub. For star gazing fans, try our outdoor resort-size gas firepit. There is split log seating for 8. It's cozy even on the coldest nights! We are located one house off highway 9 adjacent to beautiful Tarn Lake on a treed 1/2 acre. Only a 5-minute drive to downtown Breckenridge and the ski lifts. Our circular driveway is just yards off the highway. No gravel roads, hilly inclines or steep driveways. Simply put, we are the modern quintessential log home in the woods, yet close to downtown and without the crowds, traffic, and noise of busy Breckenridge. Note: Breckenridge is a destination resort town. To experience it's many activities summer and winter a week is suggested.

Ski: Breckenridge has just opened North America's highest ski area served by a ski lift.- over 12,000 Ft! Incredible bowls and steep chutes for the true expert.

Golf: Breckenridge has beautiful public golf courses with panoramic mountain views 2nd to none.

It was truly a pleasure to spend 4 days at this modern yet rustic and extremely charming log cabin in the woods. Clean, charming, comfortable and cozy and very friendly and available owners made the entire time here a delight. There was no problem getting into town and it snowed all 4 days.

Incredible home- and even nicer than described. Also very convenient to town. The owners were a pleasure to deal with throughout the process as well. We can't wait to come back!
