NOT WORTH THE MONEY!!!!!!!!!

We stayed 7/4/09 - 7/11/09. The beach was beautiful, villa is close to shopping, movies, and other activities. The villa itself is not what you would expect from the pictures. Sofa bed is broken, bathrooms are small at best, there were not enough towels provided for the number of guests and when I called the office to get more they suggested I use the washer and dryer, needless to say they were not very helpful. The villa has alot of damage such as holes in walls, broken blinds, light switches, etc. The resort is very peaceful, however if you stay near the golf course beware of flying golf balls. The villa is near the beach but it is a good walk to get there. Beach service is great but it is first come first serve. The villa could have been cleaner upon our arrival. My advice is not to stay here, there are many more properties available at reasonable rates that are much more comfortable and have much better views.
Owner's Response: We are sorry our guests had such a bad time. We try very hard to maintain our residence. We have a guest book with over 200 responses, and this is the first negative response we have ever received, and we have many repeat guests. It is unfortunate that our guests did not contact us at the time of rental to let us know of any of these concerns, as we are not aware of any of these problems. If they indeed are problems, they will be fixed as soon as possible. We take complaints very seriously.
We pay for amenities, which entitle our guests to free use of two beach chairs every day of their stay, and provide them other discounts on site. Each unit is provided eight towels, finger towels, and washcloths. Our villa is a vacation homeowner rental, literally a home away from home, and not a full service hotel, Washers are conveniently located down the stairs from our four unit villa. We work entirely with on-site management and cleaning services so maintenance and cleaning issues can be addressed immediately. This is our second home, and if there is damage of any kind that we have not been made aware of, it will be fixed as soon as possible. We are arranging a full inspection and will take care of any problems that are found.

(Update) The villa was inspected July 22, and we found that there was a problem with the sofa sleeper. According to our villa manager, there was a small indentation behind the dining room table where someone evidently fell backwards in the chair, and both these problems are scheduled to be fixed today (July 24). The villa manager could find no holes in the walls. Two vertical slats were missing from the dining room blinds, and have already been replaced. Otherwise the blinds work fine. We are thankful when our guests let us know of any problems with the villa, and will have them fixed as soon as possible.
