I am retired from Emory University but still keep busy with a second career involving consulting and volunteer work. We like to travel especially to Italy where we have a son, daughter-in-law and 3 grandchildren. We also have 6 grandchildren in the states who like to visit the lake.
Marianne DeHaan purchased this house in 1980
I discovered this lake in 1975 and was impressed with the clear water, pristine setting, isolation (at that time) and views of the mountains.
This is our respite from the city. We swim, hike, read and occasionally venture out to galleries/shopping. We also entertain family and friends for long weekends. Our children and grandchildren love to come and fish, swim, boat and hike.
