Beautiful kiva fireplace, wood & Saltillo tile floors. Full kitchen and bath. King in bedroom, Queen sofa bed in living room. Patio for outdoor eating or relaxing. Brick Outdoor Patio with Gas Grill (BBQ), Humidifier, Yoga Mat, 8 & 10 lbs. weights. Water filter on faucet in kitchen for good, clean, pure drinking water. (Taos water tastes unpleasant.) Taos Mountain is a world-class ski resort. Soothe your muscles after skiing. Non-smoking rental. One well-behaved dog (well...maybe two) is welcome but there is a pet fee.

Everything is Supplied: We have DSL and wireless Internet connection, cable TV with HBO, Starz, VCR and DVD player, as well as a CD player and stereo. A dishwasher, gas grill, humidifier, yoga mat, eight and ten pound weights. Cooking utensils, linens, towels and firewood are also provided. Taos water is safe, but unpleasant to drink, so there's a water filter on the kitchen faucet. There is a laundry room with washer and dryer. Off-the-street parking.

Only Fabulous People Stay Here: We're incredibly lucky: only fabulous people have stayed at Casa Montoya. By the way, this is a non-smoking rental so the only smoke you'll smell is the pinion or cedar burning in the fireplace.

Considered 'sacred' by many of the residents, Taos Mountain is a world-class ski resort. Taos has a rich history and cultural heritage, with numerous galleries, museums and festivals you can walk to from Casa Montoya. You'll love this place - only fabulous people have stayed here! Some guest comments: Not only is there a Yahtzee game, you’ve even supplied red cedar wood (the best smelling wood in the world!) From the moment we arrived I’ve been raving to my husband about how much I love your charming home. I’ve got Lots of decorating ideas and even convinced him we should stay in and order pizza (which we can’t do where we live) and watch one of your videos. Yippee – it’s my birthday celebration, after all! Ellen, we’ve stayed in vacation rental homes in Hawaii, New York, Florida and Rome and yours is by far the nicest!! Thank you.

Ski: Nearby Taos Ski Valley is a world-class ski resort with an outstanding ski school. Ski during the day, then come home and stroll to Taos Plaza or excellent restaurants just blocks from Casa Montoya - or come home from skiing and soak in the private hot tub and then sit by a cozy fire in the living room. Ah, you'll love it!

The base rate of $107/night is our lowest rate and is in effect for early November, early December and the month of April. Our highest rate, $225/night, is for the Christmas/New Years holiday season. Spring break is $170/night. In summertime and in ski season the rates are $150/night. A one-time cleaning fee of $80 to $85 is charged. A per night pet fee is usually charged. All taxes are included.

Payment is usually accepted in the quoted currency (USD) unless the currency and the amount is specifically agreed in advance with the owner / advertiser.

If you're looking for smaller, our Casita (HomeAway #169610) is cozy, less expensive and sleeps only 2. Looking for bigger? Our beautiful condo (HomeAway #248888) sleeps up to 4 and has 2 bedrooms - a master bedroom with King bed and master bath, and a 'den/library' separate bedroom with a sleeper sofa . There is also a second bathroom. Whichever you choose, we think you'll really enjoy all of our homes!

Fantastic place and equally fantastic service. I would happily recomment Casa Montoya to friends and family - in fact we are hoping to get back again in 2008. Very central to Taos and the ski valley, Casa Montoya has everything we needed for our ski trip - the hot tub was the icing on the cake! We had a great time at Casa Montoya. Easy walking distance to the Plaza. The hot tub and fireplace made it perfect. We will definitely stay hear on our next trip to Taos.
