Cool Pool Home in Disney: free Wireless Broadband: 4 beds 4 bathrooms

The location of this house was perfect for our family of 8 vacation in September. It was only a 15 minute drive to everything we did. The large house with 4 bedrooms and a pool was very relaxing for all of us.
But the house was not as clean as it should have been as we could see dust, cobwebs, mold in the bathrooms just to name a few items. Several light bulbs were burned out the day we arrived, only 5 washcloths were found for a family of 8, remotes had missing batteries, a picture over the master bed had fallen off the wall, and the gas grill ran out of gas the very first night we used it. We contacted the management company about these issues the very next morning. Since it was a Saturday, we were told it would be Monday before they could get back to us on what to do. As of late Monday afternoon, we had still not heard from the management company so I once again called them and was told that they had other emergencies that they had to deal with that day and had not had time to take care of our issues! So 4 days after our arrival, we went to the store and got the missing linens and gas for the grill. We did get reimbursed for our expenses. 4 days is too long to wait to have your issues resolved. All of our issues could have been avoided if the management company had done a better job of getting the house ready for the next guests.

Location, location, location makes this house so desirable along with the great layout and furnishings. We stayed in the perfect house that was toddler and senior friendly!

The location and house exceeded our expectations! The Windward Cay development is located a few streets off of Highyway192 (not a Highway per California standards but a 2 lane road with stop lights) and is very close to the WDW parks, Publix Supermarket, Target, Wal-mart, MCO airport and the freeway/toll roads. We could easily get to the WDW properties on surface roads without fighting the freeway traffic. Windward Cay is a small, intimate development with quiet, owner occupied and well maintained detached homes. We walked and played in the streets and met friendly neighbors and saw 2 peacocks running around!

The house has 4 bedrooms and 4 ½ bathrooms. (Yes, 4 ½ bathrooms!) Each bedroom had its own full bathrooms with a tub and shower to insure privacy and soundproofing. The ½ bathroom was downstairs by the family room. There is one bedroom downstairs and 3 bedrooms upstairs. The top of the stairs had a baby gate! The 2 upstairs bedrooms were at the front of the house and were separated by a long hallway to the other bedroom. The house layout is perfect for multi-generations traveling together and to keep a screaming toddler in the middle of the night from waking everyone up. The wireless internet access worked throughout the house!

The kitchen was fully stocked as a gourmet kitchen and included nice touches that included an electric tea kettle, food scale, vases, table cloth, place mats, and lots of serving trays, pots and pans. It allowed us to have a memorable Christmas Eve dinner for 12.

The house was kid friendly with the WDW themed bedrooms and nice kid touches. The pool had a fence around it, a pool cover and the doors leading to the pool had locks that little hands could not reach. We appreciated that the owner had a full size crib with mattress, high chair, stroller (with a big underneath basket for WDW!) and an exersaucer. The house was tastefully decorated with nice furniture and the wall hangings/pictures were theme parks and characters and Florida décor.

The house and owner were great. The owner was very easy to work with accommodating and always got back to us promptly by email. The property management company called us upon our arrival to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. WE WOULD RENT THIS HOUSE AGAIN!

We thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay at this villa and would definitely recommend it. This is a superb villa with a really welcoming, comfortable feel. All the rooms were spacious and clean and there are lots of nice little touches which made this property stand out from the crowd, like the books, toys, dvds, games and console....etc. Plenty of bed linen, towels etc and nicely furnished.
We have visited the Orlando area many, many times over the past 20 years and this is one house that we will definitely being looking to rent again in the future.
This villa benefits from a great location close to shops and restaurants etc in a quiet, friendly neighbourhood.

Our stay had to be extended due to the ash cloud and the owner could not have been more helpful and understanding to our plight.
