This secluded home offers 5 bedrooms & 3 baths. 6 adults maximum. Levels connected by an external stairway to allow separation between two families vacationing together or allowing your teens a 'pad' of their own. Enough space and privacy for everyone with an upstairs level of 3 bedrooms and 1 full bath and a downstairs level of 2 bedrooms and two full baths. Both levels offer full kitchen amenities and living areas. Also a private dock with deep, clear water for swimming and fishing in this no-wake cove. Enjoy the most beautiful deep-green water on Smith Mountain Lake with an exceptional view of the mountain too! 2 covered screened porches and an open deck with 2 large tables for eating outside. A gentle 200' slope with a lighted terraced walkway makes for easy access to the dock. Quiet neighborhood great for bikes.

It's perfect for children and safe biking in quiet wooded neighborhood. Of course bring your pets because this spot will be special for them as well! The dock area is known for it's outstanding fishing.

Relax at night by the gas fireplace upstairs with one of the books offered from the library or one of the board games.

Sleep at night in the queen beds; or curl up in one of the comfortable twin beds. The kids will love the bunk beds. Enjoy watching deer, birds, and other wildlife play while dining on the open deck or the screened porch.

Away from it all

If you are looking for a place in which to relax and let go, this is the place! Although I had to attend to some office concerns during my stay, the ease with which I could do so and the atmosphere of this "away from it all" setting, did not prevent me from letting go as soon as my laptop was closed! With the lake front of this property being tucked away in a cove, we were able to swim for hours enjoying the perfect temperature of the water (early Aug) and the sights and sounds of nature, while the hours just slipped away. The floating dock was perfect for getting into our kayaks and onto our rafts and for diving into the water! When we did finally retire into the house for the night, the dual kitchens and living areas provided enough amenities to satisfy all of our needs (10 of us) and the clean and comfortable bedrooms provided for great rest after the fun-filled days. The serene atmosphere of this property was such a contrast to the hotels in which we’ve stayed during our other Liberty University visits, and being less than an hour’s drive, we surely hope to be staying here during some future visits. (I can’t wait to see this place cloaked with the colors of Autumn!) The owners/managers of this property were very responsive and a pleasure to work with.

This home was cozy, clean and nicely decorated. The setting was perfect. A nice gradual slope to the dock and all the amenities of home. Our children had a great time biking on the quite road and the wooded areas next to to the home were great for privacy. The deck has a marvelous view. We'll be back. All descriptions were accurate and the owners were helpful with any questions.

Great place- but no interior stairs

We went to this house with our 2 year old, 4 year old and another family with a 3 year old, 5 year old and a dog. We loved the house- and it's proximity to the water. The kids loved the floating dock... the only surprise we had is that it's actually 2 separate units- an upstairs and downstairs with no internal stairs.
The property was very well maintained, airconditioning worked well though it was very warm, owner was very friendly and accomodating in our phone conversations... overall, I would definitely recommend.

The house itself had a gorgeous deck on the upper level, a screened in sitting porch on the lower level, and all the amenities of home. We loved our stay here, and are looking forward to going again.
