Mountain View Seclusion is a beautiful waterfront home with two full levels offering views of Smith Mountain and the quiet cove yet with wireless Internet on the dock. This secluded home offers five bedrooms and three baths. The levels are connected by an external stairway to allow separation between two families vacationing together or allowing your teens a 'pad' of their own. Enough space and privacy for everyone with an upstairs level of 3 bedrooms and 1 full bath and a downstairs level of 2 bedrooms and two full baths. Both levels offer full kitchen amenities and living areas. Also a private dock with deep, clear water for swimming and fishing in this no-wake cove. Enjoy the most beautiful deep-green water on Smith Mountain Lake with an exceptional view of the mountain too! There is no steep hiking to get to the lake like most of the rentals homes! A gentle 200' slope with a lighted terraced walkway makes for easy access to the dock. Quiet neighborhood great for kids and bikes.

Our home is in a quiet, exclusive neighborhood on a quiet cove with excellent swimming and fishing off our dock. There is a water access for your boat right next door. Smith Mountain Lake is known for its spectacular mountain views, great fishing, clean, deep water, and growing boutiques near the bridge. This is a perfect spot for a family vacation on a lake with boating, antiquing, fishing, swimming, wine tasting, historical landmark touring, mini-golfing, hiking, and biking.

It's perfect for children and safe biking in quiet wooded neighborhood. Of course bring your pets because this spot will be special for them as well! The dock area is known for it's outstanding fishing. Relax at night by the gas fireplace upstairs with one of the books offered from the library or one of the board games. Sleep at night in the queen beds; or curl up in one of the comfortable twin beds. The kids will love the bunk beds. Enjoy watching deer, birds, and other wildlife play while dining on the open deck or the screened porch. Mountain View Seclusion offers all the comforts and luxury you would want and deserve after a hard day of fishing, swimming, or hiking. A grill, a covered screened porch, and open decking add to the enjoyment. Smith Mountain Lake is enjoyable any season of the year.

Watch the spring burst into bloom; relax into the summer with fishing and swimming; experience a blazing fall color spectacular with a wine festival in September; cuddle up around the fire throughout the winter and watch the deer play. For those that can not afford to be out of reach or want to work in an atmosphere of relaxation while the rest of the family plays, wireless cable Internet access is also available and can even be accessed from the dock if you have a wireless card for your laptop. This home was cozy, clean and nicely decorated. The setting was perfect. A nice gradual slope to the dock and all the amenities of home. Our children had a great time biking on the quite road and the wooded areas next to to the home were great for privacy. The deck has a marvelous view. We'll be back. All descriptions were accurate and the owners were helpful with any questions.

Great place- but no interior stairs

We went to this house with our 2 year old, 4 year old and another family with a 3 year old, 5 year old and a dog. We loved the house- and it's proximity to the water. The kids loved the floating dock... the only surprise we had is that it's actually 2 separate units- an upstairs and downstairs with no internal stairs.
The property was very well maintained, airconditioning worked well though it was very warm, owner was very friendly and accomodating in our phone conversations... overall, I would definitely recommend.

This home was on a cove section of the lake, and offered a quiet, secluded environment. The lake was easily accessible, and very clean. The house itself had a gorgeous deck on the upper level, a screened in sitting porch on the lower level, and all the amenities of home. We loved our stay here, and are looking forward to going again.

We had a great time at the house this week. We loved swimming in the quiet cove and sitting under the stars at night on the deck. What a peaceful place. The kitchen is well stocked even for a fussy cook. The place was clean and well-decorated. We'll definately be there next year.
