4BR Lakefront Vacation Rental Moneta, Virginia USA

This three level cottage has plenty of room and is fully equipped for a rustic, peaceful, fun, getaway. Tucked away midst the trees is a four bedroom, two bath, lake front, air conditioned cottage on a semi-private, deep water cove (23 feet at dock), between lake marker R-26 & R27 (near Bridgewater Plaza). First Floor: Kitchen (Equipped with dishes, pots/pans for basic cooking). Living Room/Dining Room, Full Bath (tub with shower), Front Bedroom: 2 twin beds, Back bedroom: 2 twin beds Hardwood Floors, Double sliding glass doors to deck overlooking the lake; Central air-conditioning.

Second Floor: Master Bedroom: King Size Bed, private balcony overlooking lake. Front Bedroom: Queen Size Bed. Full Bathroom: Shower (no tub). Carpeted Floors.

Basement: Pool Table, Air Hockey Table, Foozball Table, Washer/Dryer, Sliding Glass door with path to lake

The second floor has carpeted floors and features a master bedroom with king size bed, cable TV, and a private deck overlooking the peaceful lake. The second bedroom features a full size bed and cable TV/VCR combo and the second floor also has one full size bath with walk-in shower.

The lower level is all fun and games and features a pool table, air hockey table, and foozball table. Sliding glass doors lead out to the path to the lake. There is a full size washer and dryer for your convenience.

The gently sloped path leads to the water's edge featuring two stationary docks and one large floating dock. Deep water off a no-wake cove makes for great swimming and fishing. A paddle boat is also available for you to enjoy as you venture around the cove. We are close to Bridge water Plaza where there are numerous stores, restaurants, and night time entertainment.

There you will also find several places to rent boats, personal watercraft, and tubes.

We only have amazing things to say about this place! We needed a place big enough to accommodate 8 people (our boys ages 14, 12, 10 and 7 month old baby, my In-laws, my husband and I) and this house was perfect for us. There was more than enough beds but we would recommend bringing an extra pillow if you like two because each bed only had one.
There was plenty to do for everyone. From the basement game room with pool, ping pong, foosball and air-hockey to the water front access for fishing, swimming and relaxing on the dock. The paddle boat was a fun and unexpected surprise and was enjoyed by the boys for fishing.
The kitchen was fully stocked with all the cook ware needed to cook a full meal and the central air conditioning worked well to cool down the upstairs.
There are a couple of stores close by including a grocery store so you don't have to worry about dragging a lot of stuff with you (like we did). We tried Lago pizza on Friday night which was good.
We had a blast and are already making plans to come back again!

Perfect Spot

This was the perfect spot for 8 golfers to hangout! The cove is beautiful. We all had a fantastic time and the weather was perfect Friday thru Monday.
