Amazing Canyons Townhome!

I want to start off by saying that the pictures posted online don't really do this home justice. It has most certainly been upgraded with all of the travertine flooring in the bathrooms, wonderful tile work in all of the bathrooms, and granite countertops throughout the unit. It is quite spacious as far as a ski rental goes, and my family and I had more than enough room to all spread out and have some privacy when we wanted it, and more than enough room in the kitchen and family room to hang out together when we wanted to do that. The downstairs "bunk bed" room is perfect for kids, my 2 boys aged 7 and 5 really loved the fact that they had their own space, own TV, DVD player, X-Box complete with games, and the ability to watch TV on the top bunk, and then sleep on the bottom bunk. What my wife and I really enjoyed was the fact that we were able to close their door! Just Kidding. But the fact that the bedroom we stayed in was right next to theirs on the lower level proved very handy both at bedtime and with getting them ready in the morning.
The kitchen was well equipped and all the appliances were in newer condition and worked flawlessly. The kitchen/dining table has enough room to seat 8 for meals, and we made use of it frequently. The pool and jacuzzi are a short walk away from the unit and both are heated and well maintained. The overall location of the townhome was perfect for us as we like to head to main street for dinner, and skiing at Deer Valley, both of which are a short 10 minute drive away. We also drove over to Alta to ski and frequently headed down to Kimball Junction for dining and activities as well, and this units location made that a breeze.
Dealing with Richie (the owner) was very easy as well and he was very prompt in his replies to any e-mails and any questions about the townhome. His well thought out pages of instructions and tips proved to be very helpful to us, and he even included a page of websites for us to visit regarding discounts on rental cars and lift tickets. Thanks again Richie!
This is my first experience renting a townhome through the VRBO website but I can say it certainly won't be my last! My family and I had a wonderful trip and we are already looking forward to coming back next year and staying in the same unit again. I give it my highest recommendation.
