An Amazing Five Weeks With Our Family at this Perfect Kapa'a Home

My family's five week vacation at this home exceeded our expectations in every way.
First, the house itself was very clean and extremely comfortable. The owners have taken great care to ensure that families have everything they need already at the house for a relaxing and fun stay, such as extra beach towels, a wide range of beach toys (including surf shoes and boogie boards), various kitchen appliances and utensils, plenty of storage space, and a collection of movies and books. For our vacation, which included our three year old and four month old boys, they even made sure we had a crib and stroller, both of which we used.
Second, the owners were always quick to answer our questions and give advice for our Kaua'i adventures, even though the owners were busy running their own successful small business. They always did so with graciousness, kindness and care. Additionally, they went well beyond our expectations by repeatedly surprising us with generous gifts, such as fresh fruit from the local market, cookies for the holidays and other thoughtful gestures. And their recommendations (such as for a good massage therapist in town, and the right restaurant for my birthday dinner) were always excellent. Most of all, their welcome of us into their lovely rental home, situated right next to their own home, was ongoing and genuine, and gave our visit a positive energy which permeated our entire vacation. It was truly a pleasure to get to know them a little bit and to be a part of their lives for 40 days.
Third, the location in Kapa'a was perfect. We were within 100 yards of the bike path, which we used almost every day. The baby beach is an easy 10 minute walk at the very most, and was also a delight for us to enjoy with the kids. The town itself is wonderful with its cute shops, good restaurants and variety of grocery stores (we chose to cook for ourselves often.) We especially enjoyed the human diversity, with tourists and locals, old and young, people of all backgrounds and ethnicities, all crossing paths at the weekly market, in small businesses (such as the yoga house), at the beaches, and of course, on the bike path.
I have repeatedly recommended this home and its owners to others since my return, despite one member of my family's request, "Stop talking about it, or we may never get to rent it again as it will become so popular!" Alas, the owners have touched me with the aloha spirit and I must tell the truth in full. Mahalo T & L.
