A charming farmhouse rental circa 1850 on Main Street directly across from Drummer Boy Park and the Nature Trail to the beach. A classic Cape Codder with a seashell driveway and a white picket fence, this house is perfect for a large family with smaller children or grandparents who want to entertain their children and grandchildren. The house features a master bedroom and bath with a jet tub and private deck for sunset views of the bay, two upstairs kids rooms with two single beds in each, and a guest bedroom with a queen bed and futon downstairs. There are three full bathrooms, one with washer and dryer. This home has a wonderful living room filled with antiques and heirlooms, a woodburning fireplace, a sun porch, a large kitchen, next to an outdoor terrace with a gas grill and a picnic table. The house includes lots of toys, books, and antiques, a TV room with cable tv, dvd, and video. The large yard includes a treehouse, a basketball court, a tetherball and a hammock.

Brewster is a quiet Bayside town with wonderful family beaches, a general Store with penny candy and donuts, a clam shack and ice cream stand, a farm stand, great local theatre, a fabulous bookstore, Nickerson State park with ponds, bike trails and camping and lots of fun family activities.

Why fight traffic, when you can walk across Main Street to the Natural History Museum (offering summer day camp and other programs), take a nature trail to the beach, or just cross the street to a playground and free band concerts Sunday afternoons in the Drummer Boy Park. Kate's ice cream offers fried clams and the world's best onion rings 1/2 mile North on Main Street. Start your day with a morning bike ride down Lower Road to the Brewster Store for coffee and homemade donuts. Give the kids a dollar for penny candy and bring home the morning paper (local, Boston Globe, New York Times). Cliff Pond, a few miles behind the house in the Punkhorn Parkland, is perfect for an afternoon swim, kayak or sail. Nickerson State Park and the Cape Cod Rail Trail access is a few miles away.
