Nestled along the eastern shore of Onedia Lake and connected to the historic Erie Canal System, the Sylvan Beach resort area offers a wide variety of attractions. Come enjoy our sandy beaches, boating, family-oriented amusement park, marinas, a great variety of shops and restaurants and some of the finest Walleye, Yellow Perch and Small mouth and Large mouth Bass fishing in the country. The interior of the cottage is both cheerful and relaxing, with an easy and comfortable floor plan. The first floor showcases a bright, new kitchen with all the conveniences, including a three-person breakfast bar. Connected to the kitchen, an airy dining room easily accommodates eight, and if needed, the sun porch has additional dining for four. The charming family room boasts lake views, fireplace and is a perfect gathering place for all guests to watch television, read or just relax. We have a game room that includes a Foosball® table and day bed.

My family and I rented the Sunshine Cottage in Sylvan Beach, Oneida Lake, NY for the week of July 4, 2007. It was a wonderful time together. The beach was great and is shallow for a long way out....great for the little ones. Folks all around us were friendly. There was a great little amusement park and resaurants nearby. We enjoyed a fireworks display on the beach. Gentle breezes and plenty of peace and serenity were enjoyed by all. The cottage itself was clean, roomy, and came with wonderful amenities. A great experience that you will enjoy too!
