Bachelor Party Weekend

Spent last weekend ( Friday, April 1st through Sunday, April 3rd) at Brigadoon to celebrate my son's Bachelor Party retreat. Wow, what a celebration! The cabin was absolutely outstanding! Everything was exactly as described, and more...We had a total of 7 in the cabin and had plenty of space. Bedrooms were very comfortable and the loft was perfect for our crowd. It was really great to have the 2 1/2 baths with this crowd! Some of my favorites were the huge fireplace to ward off the evening chill, the spacious screened in porch, and the outside deck,A great place for my morning coffee (what a view) and you couldnt beat the star gazing at night at that elevation! Close proximity to the river was an plus for this old flyfisher...Caught and released a beautiful rainbow right below the bridge! Our last evening there we spent down by the river at the picnic grove where we grilled steaks on the charcoal grill and baked our potatoes in a campfire we built. I anticipate bringing my entire family there sometime soon because I know my girls ( wife, daughter, and 2 future daughter in laws would love it there). Not quite sure what the pet policy is, but I also know that my 4 'grand dogs' would love it there as well! Nothing but high praise for the property and the property owners...I definitely give 5 stars...

Owner's Response: Thank you so much for all the positive comments about Brigadoon! I keep telling folks, the pictures really doesn't do it justice. Brigadoon is a labor of love.....I took a 1937 cabin, spent two years renovating it totally and turned it into a very warm and cozy cabin. Glad you caught a rainbow trout in Little River. Dupont State Forest borders the cabin on the north side. Looking forward to having your family back.
