2BR Waterfront Vacation Rental St. Cloud, Florida USA

Our single story house with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms is just one block north of popular Highway 192 in St. Cloud, which takes you right to the entrance of Disney World, or you can take the Osceola Parkway and be there within 45 minutes from the time you leave the house. From Osceola Parkway, Universal Studios and the other theme parks are accessible. The location of the house is what makes people want to return again and again. The house has the advantage of a quiet country area yet is close to all services. The Florida room leads out to a sundeck, with steps down to the wooden dock - great for fishing on the canal which leads out to Lake Runnymede and East Lake Tohopekaliga. The 30x15 solar-heated swimming pool can be entered by way of the sundeck or through sliding glass doors from the dining room. The wooden dock is nice for fishing, sunbathing and watching the wild life. Bird watching is especially good. A gas barbecue grill is located on the patio.

The house offers a full kitchen with full size appliances, a microwave, Zephyrhills water cooler, 1 color TV, a laundry room with full size washer and dryer plus all the housewares you may need. There is central air and heating, The Master Bedroom has a queen-size bed. And in the second bedroom there is a queen-size bed and a trundle bed. The manager of the house is right across the street to help you take care of any problems during your stay. Within 10 minutes from the house, on Highway 192, is a Wal-Mart Supercenter, restaurants, supermarkets, stores, garages and anything else that you might need. A twin movie theater is located on 10th Street. A flea market is only 15 minutes from the house on 192. Within 35 minutes you can be at the Mall at Millenia or The Florida Mall in Orlando by way of the Turnpike.

Within 5 minutes from the house are tennis courts and a handball court which you may use at no charge. Within 15 minutes there are two PGA rated golf courses.

Orlando International Airport is only 30 minutes from the house.

In about an hour's drive, you can reach Florida's beaches, or you can go to the NASA Kennedy Space Center for tours. You can actually drive on Daytona Beach, the most famous beach in the world. The Silver Spurs Arena, located in Kissimmee, hosts two major rodeos a year. The Houston Astros do their Spring Training within 20 minutes of the house. The Orlando Convention Center and the Gaylord Palms, with its convention center, beautiful grounds, bars and restaurants, are both about 45 minutes away. Lake Tohopekaliga (Lake Toho) is considered one of the best bass fishing lakes in the country. For your daily exercise, there is a walkway on Lake Toho at Lakeshore Drive.

When you need a rest, it's nice to discover that the old Florida is still there, with many natural places of interest to visit, lakes to fish and wildlife to see; all under the Florida sun.

Clean, peaceful, quiet. At the end of the street set on a canal. The loudest noise is the birds. Beautiful decks and great swimming pool. Very relaxing atmosphere, pool for the Mrs., fishing for the Mr. is just 50' out the back door. Air conditioning for those who soak up too much sun. I don't think there is anything you could ask for that is not there. Bring your own clothes and toothbrush and you are set for a great vacation.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

There is a tree house next door that you are welcome to use. It's great for morning coffee, lunch and picture taking at any time. The wildlife is fascinating. Enjoy a paddleboat or canoe ride, at no extra cost. Come see us, you'll be glad you did.

Relax refresh and renew!

When we arrived we were so tired and it was dark, but the next morning when we woke up and walked out the back door and saw the water and heard the beautiful birds and saw it was so peaceful. To sit and not hear cars or other noise while drinking my coffee on the back deck in the serene atmosphere was nice. We literally cooked out everyday for breakfast lunch and dinner and sat on the deck to enjoy the scenery while eating. I truly want a place like this to retire one day or a second home. We loved Mr Marvin and Ms Bertha who welcomed us with true hospitality. Marvin showed us how to fish which we did everyday catching. Gar, pike, bass, blue gill. seen some huge alligators right outside. wow, very exciting and Marvin showed us around and told us some good stories. We felt so at ease and loved, loved, loved it there. We will be back again and again! You have everything you could want at the house and the amenities is by far more than you could ask for. Perfect! Once you get there you never have to leave, but we did go to the parks for 2 days and wished we would have stayed at the house instead. Enjoyed it more than the parks. Shopping and stores right down the street. I even found cute lil day spa and salons near by. The owners made sure you had more than the basics to stay there. It was clean and beautifully decorated.

Home Away From Home

Spent several days here with family. Very roomy two bedroom home with a fully equipped kitchen. It was the little things that made such a difference here - many extra towels and sheets, full bars of soap in each bathroom, great magazines and books to read, large flat screen tv with tons of channels. They left nothing out!

The water here does have a strong sulphur smell - but the owners provided a large commercial size water dispenser for those of us who are not used to that! Thanks for the nice touch.

We highly recommend this place. St.Cloud is a wonderful small town. We love the fact that we were fairly close to the action of Orlando and Disney, but still away from it all.

Heaven on Earth

Anyone looking for a piece of Heaven of Earth really needs to stay here!! I have traveled all over the world for many years, and I have never stayed somewhere as pleasureable as this.

The home is beautiful and so, so comfortable. This is the perfect place to get some great rest and relaxation, and still close enough to hit any of the Theme Parks within just a few minutes. One of the things I really enjoyed was the close proximity to Disney World, Universal Studios and Sea World, but I didn't have to deal with all of the congested traffic that can be associated with many of the other places to stay nearby.

What we really enjoyed more than anything else though, was the hosts. They immediately made us feel like family, and we will cherish their friendship forever. Their hospitality was incredible, and we feel truly blessed to have met and made friends with two of the most genuine people we have ever known.

This place has it all!! Just minutes from some of the best fishing in the world, loads of great restaurants, and right around the corner from all of the great area attractions. We will definitely be back as soon as possible, and will spend many years coming back to this wonderful home.

Lovely Getaway

A delightful place to stay in peaceful natural surroundings. The accommodation is clean, tidy and well appointed with everything you need. Bertha and Marvin are very welcoming and helpful. A great place for birdwatchers to stay (59 species seen from the garden).
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Romantic Getaway
