Condo, 2 Bedrooms, 2 Baths, (Sleeps 4-6)

Kanaloa at Kona is the nicest resort on the Kona Coast. It sits on an ancient Lava flow that juts out into the Ocean about 1/2 mile, thereby separating the resort from the noise and traffic of Alii Drive. All the other resorts in town sit right on Alii Drive. The resort is beautifully manicured and is surrounded by the Ocean on one side, and the Kona Country Club Golf Course on the other.

The resort is a gated community with three lovely pools and hot tubs and a front desk with a very helpful concierge on duty to assist you. The Kanaloa at Kona oceanfront restaurant is again open for service, providing fine oceanfront dining in Keauhou at the water’s edge. There are enough world class beaches up and down the coast for you to explore a different one each day!

The condo was completely remodeled in 2006. Everything is new including the furniture, carpet, Koa wood kitchen cabinets, granite countertops, lanai furniture, linens, etc... The condo also has vaulted ceilings in every room giving it a very large open feel. There are three lanais in unit.

The spacious main lanai is oceanfront off of the living room and the two back lanais are off of the master bedroom and guest bedroom facing the mountains. We keep the condo stocked with snorkels, masks, fins, boogie boards, floaties, beach towels and a cooler so you're ready to start your vacation as soon as you check in!

You have several dining options. You can enjoy meals with seating for four at the glass table in the dining room or you can enjoy your meals oceanfront on the main lanai. You can also dine at the small table for two in the kitchen.

The spacious kitchen provides guests with all of the amenities and appliances to create gourmet meals right in the condo. Hawaiian Koa wood cabinets, tiled floors and granite countertops compliment this large, open kitchen with lots of cabinets for storage.

This condo was perfect for our 7 night stay. We love Kanaloa at Kona and this condo did not disappoint. It was surprisingly spacious and the photos do not do it justice. The view from the main lanai is fantastic, I could sit there watching the waves crash on the shore for days. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed to cook our meals, even a rice maker! We loved the layout of this condo and the bedrooms were larger than expected with plenty of closet space. I would recommend to all. We also highly recommend the Sea Paradise snorkel trip out of Keauhou Bay, it's a smaller boat than the Fair Winds but much more comfortable and fun!

It felt so luxurious being on the top floor with the relaxing song of the waves coming in the bay 100 yards away. This condo is so spacious (also quiet and feels private) and has all kinds of great amenities--everything you can think of for enjoying the beach, great spices and condiments for dining in, (which we did often), lots of extra bedding and towels. It is a stellar location with one of the best snorkeling beaches practically next door and Magic Sands beach just beyond that. Appreciated that shopping for basics was close and great dining and other shopping not far away. The owner was accessible and easy to communicate with.

Fantastic Views from this condo. Very spacious with all the amenities. Make sure you get the air conditioning though. The trade winds are on the other side of the resort and won't help you here!

Had a great time in Kona and the condo is a super unit. It's location is superb, and of course it is very comfortable, quiet, clean and spacious. Close to all 3 pools but especially the oceanside (adult) pool. Most impressive is the way that Outrigger take care of the grounds. They are absolutely immaculate and one of the best we’ve seen in all the places we have stayed in Hawaii. Would recommend it to my friends and will no doubt be back.

Beautiful Kanaloa

Very spacious, clean condo with easy access to the family pool (also an adult only and an ocean view pool.) Short drive to downtown Kona, & grocery store within 2 minutes. Enjoyed breakfast on the lanai overlooking the bay. Beach supplies in condo include cooler, beach chairs, fins, big straw sun hats and boogie boards (2); all a nice surprise to have fun at the beach. Would definately stay again, thank-you Steve
