DC adventure

Scott and Sally were wonderful hosts.
The upstairs apartment was a wonderful space with plenty of room to relax. We were exploring the many areas around DC so we didn't get to relax that much, but when we did it was perfect. The apartment was very clean and maintained.
Our weather wasn't the best to take advantage of the canoe, but we would have loved the opportunity to be on the water and explore the many inlets off of the Chesapeke Bay.
The private upstairs deck was a great space with BBQ grill, tables, chairs and even an awning to block the sun. The lower deck was a very nice space also, we played a game of Pictionary outside the one evening that it was absolutely beautiful.
Exploring the area was relatively easy. DC was an hour in, but usually an hour and a half back (rush hour is from 2:30 - 7:00pm) via Washington/Baltimore Parkway. Baltimore was a really easy drive. Annapolis is really nice with it's many little shops and eateries along with all of the great historic buildings.
Shopping Malls including the Bass Pro Shop and a 24 plex movie theater are within 30 minutes of the apartment. We found some of our favorites, like Golden Corral and CiCi's Pizza Buffet. Other eateries and shopping were just a few minutes away. We even found a couple of antique stores just a couple miles down the road.
Thank you again Scott and Sally for your great apartment.
