Beautiful beach marred by negative experience

Condo is situated on a beautiful part of Redington Beach. Being Floridians we were looking for something comparable to the gorgeous sand of Clearwater beach. This beach is similar but had a little more debris in the sand. As far as the condo goes, this is an older unit, in an older building. The condo has been remodeled and is as described. Our stay was satisfactory but our departure, and follow up with owner was negative and unfortunate. I would not recommend this to a friend or family member.
Owner's Response: It is never easy to tell a guest there were problems discovered after check out. In 5 years of renting this is the second time I have charged a guest for extra cleaning. I suppose if your expectations are that of a hotel like the Sand Pearl Hotel with daily maid service, a beachfront condo is not as
luxurious. I regret that the guest did not feel instructions for departure were clear.
