An elegant and modern studio apartment, for two people, in the Vondelpark area in Amsterdam.
This contemporary studio has
recently been renovated with an eye for style and comfort. The decor of the
apartment has many splendid features such as tasteful subtle lighting, a
beautiful parquet floor, delightful artwork, a marble tiled kitchen floor
and plenty of natural light form the full length sliding double glazed doors.
The living area has a very relaxed feel with a sofa, a rug sprawled
across the floor and a TV for your entertainment. The kitchen area is modern
and fully equipped with an oven, a microwave, a grill, a hob and everything
else you would need to cook a great dish. The high counter and dining table for
four guests make it very intimate and cosy. The sliding doors open wide onto a
back garden. The double bed is large and comfortable and has nightstands and
lamps. The remodelled bathroom contains a toilet and a state of the art shower
with several different appliances. The amenities include fresh linen and
towels, a dishwasher, central heating and hi-speed Internet. With great
facilities and in a wonderful location this is a great place to base yourself
while enjoying your stay.
This apartment is located on floor 4.
The apartment is situated on the Eerste Helmerstraat, in the West of Amsterdam. With plenty of shops, cafés and restaurants in the neighborhood, you will not have to go far to find what you need. If you are looking for some peace and quiet, the Vondelpark is just around the corner – a green haven in the centre of bustling Amsterdam.
The famous Jordaan area, with its “Negen straatjes” (9 streets), home to many of Amsterdam’s exciting smaller boutiques, is just a 20 minute walk away. The Palace on Dam Square or the hectic Kalverstraat shopping street are also within easy reach, either on foot, by bike or tram. Visit the tempting Lindengracht food market on a Saturday morning, or the farmers' market on the Noordermarkt. A twenty minute stroll away (or 5-minute tram ride) is the Museumplein, home to the Van Gogh Museum, the newly reopened Stedelijk Museum of Modern Art and the Rijksmuseum with its collection of world renowned masterworks. Something for every taste!
For those of you who want to venture a little further afield, hop on one of the many trams to take you across Amsterdam. The main train station, Central Station, is also just a short ride away.
