This brand new home is sure to be your home away from home. Just completed in May 2009 with all fine furnishings. This home is located at 229 Beachwalk Lane. Six doors down from the welcome center, pool and most amenities.

Fully furnished with, games, fishing poles and an electric golf cart to use at your leisure. Two screened porches (upper and lower) in the front provide serenity. An upper and lower open deck provide a sitting area to enjoy everything nature has to offer. This home features a covered lanai in the rear of the house for added space and relaxation. Located directly across the street from Lake Michigan with tree lined streets, colorful houses and white picket fences.

The community has its own private walkway to Lake Michigan, private lake, swimming pool, brand new splash pad, parks and playgrounds, fishing docks, volleyball, tennis, and basketball courts, putting greens, and planned family activities.

Come and enjoy the beach during the day and the sunsets at night.

Grand Girls Weekend

We stayed at the Weigt Room for a girls weekend. There were nine of us. This was our third getaway to Beachwalk, our first stay in the Weight Room! We will definitely be back to stay at the Weight Room again! This home is magnificent. All weekend long, we were all commenting on the special details included in this house. When you think of a rental home, you expect it to be nice, but maybe less accomodating than a home you would live in full time. That was not the case here! One of the biggest things was the beds, oh my the beds! They were incredibly comfy! They felt incredibly expensive! There was so much room to spread out or to hang together in one common living space! The bathrooms were spacious, updated, and very clean! The decor was so inviting. It felt like a beach getaway, but it also looked like they decorated it just to live in. The rugs downstairs, the blinds, the light fixtures, everything is new, updated, and beautiful! We had a great time on the golf cart! Many of us spent time on the porch daybed, it was so quiet and peaceful! I cannot say enough good things about this house! It is by far my favorite property at Beachwalk!

Great Family House!

Our family ranged in age from the 70's to 3 mo.& and a good weekend was had by all at the House! Plenty of room to spread out or find a quiet niche, ample beds & baths (plus towels), porches & balconies galore (but it was a fairly cold windy weekend for use) and overall, a great spot to be in since the pool (for summer use) was across the street. Used the golf cart quite a bit to tour the resort. Our daughter was married here 5 yrs ago, the Place brought back fond memories....

We all had a wonderful time together celebrating a special Anniversary...thanks to the very accommodating owners!

Beautiful Home!

My 6 friends and I stayed here for a girls' weekend. We were especially impressed with the beautiful decor, updated bathrooms and the spaciousness of the main area. The kitchen area was well stocked with enough plates, glasses, utensils and cookware for all the cooking we did and was able to accommodate 2-3 people working at the same time. The whole house was also super clean. Beachwalk is a wonderful community with plenty of activities nearby including Blue Chip Casino. If we come back to Michigan City we will definitely consider staying here again.

amazing vacation rental

We were very pleased and surprised with the Weigt Room. It was so clean it seemed we were its very first renters! All the rooms had DVD players and DVDs to make everyone happy. There was even a karaoke machine in one of the closets. My 7 year old was thrilled. The pool is across the street and the amazing beach is just a quick golf cart trip down the street. The Weigt Family is amazingly easy to communicate with. The golf cart had a flat and I emailed Linda. She responded immediately and and someone came to fix it early the next morning. I just received a hand written note with my security deposit. Everyone loved the paddle boards & canoes. WE WILL DEFINITELY BE GOING BACK!!!!

Retreat

Our church held an elder retreat at the property and from the beginning the communication was prompt, informative and friendly. The check in was flawless and the property was terrific. Clean, spacious and suited our needs perfectly. We've held these retreats at other properties, none as nice as this.
