Enjoy breathtaking views of the Gulf from the secluded, wrap-around porches of this private paradise. Delight in the Nature Coast's wildlife on nearly one acre of waterfront property, while luxuriating in the latest conveniences of this gorgeous home that was built in August 2004. New walkway to the water and private gazebo. This three-bedroom/four-bath home includes a sofa bed, and sleeps ten people comfortably. Two additional pull-out beds are available, as well. The home is furnished in cozy island-style. You'll immediately feel 'at home' while taking pleasure in extraordinary amenities such as an over-sized roman shower, a Jacuzzi® tub that overlooks the water, and two gas fireplaces. The master bedroom comes with a king-size poster/canopy bed. Two additional bedrooms each have a queen-size bed. The home also offers a den (with two single beds) and a sleeper sofa in the living room.

The full kitchen includes a gas stove/electric oven, dishes, cookware, utensils, a dishwasher, microwave, toaster, coffeemaker, blender, mixer, and ice maker. There is a full-size gas grill in the private picnic area. Additional amenities include central heat and air-conditioning, a washer/dryer, linens, towels, beach towels, 8 bicycles, a new 2 person Kayak, satellite TV, a VCR, DVD, stereo, a CD, cassette, DVDs, videos, games, cards, books, and covered parking. a new gazebo at the waters edge. Arrive on the island by car, by private plane to the Cedar Key Airport (taxi service is available via the unicom frequency), or by boat -- into the Cedar Key Marina. Cedar Key is approximately 50 miles from Gainesville, 130 miles from Tampa, 145 miles from Orlando, 150 miles from Tallahassee, 130 miles from Jacksonville, and 370 miles from Miami.

Cedar Key amenities include fishing charters, guides, boat rentals, shopping, restaurants, and nature trails. Smoking is permitted outside. Pets are NOT allowed. Bring your your own beach towels.

We spent a weekend at Incommunicado and had a very good time. The house is very clean and nicely decorated. It is an excellent place to get away from it all. There were six adults in our party and we had plenty of room. The kitchen is excellent and the master suite is one of the most extravigant rooms I have ever seen. I would highly recommend this rental.

As we entered the house to explore our vacation residence, our jaws dropped to the floor. Throughout the house I heard echoes of "Wow! You have to check this out! Have you seen the master suite yet?" My family and I had just discovered Incommunicado. The house was incredible, like stepping into the pages of a magazine. There was a perfect amount of space for us - 2 couples and 1 family of 3 - with the 3 bedrooms and the den. While we enjoyed our separate spaces, we also enjoyed coming together for dinner and breakfast at the large dining table, sitting around the kitchen bar chatting as someone prepared dinner, and staying up late talking as we stretched out on the huge comfy couch in the living room. The porches offered views of the Gulf framed by palms and oaks draped in spanish moss - a pictoresque setting to watch the sunset. This home and Cedar Key offers the perfect family retreat for those seeking a peaceful vacation in a quaint coastal village setting, with many opportunities for kayaking, birdwatching, and lazy afternoons. Thank you for sharing your house with us. We are already dreaming of our next visit.

This house was spectacular with breath taking views, and the best of every concievable amenity possible.
Each room was meticulously decorated capturing the essence of Floridas charm.
I have traveled extensivley throughout the world and this house with it's careful planning of every detail, and it's location makes it one of the best vacations ever.

We recently stayed at Incommunicado with another family and had a great time. There was plenty of room for all of us to spread out. The owner provides all the comforts of home in a place that is truly a dream house. We would love to go back and enjoy it again.
