This lovely, new, contemporary four season, luxury vacation home is nestled in the Catskill Mountains -- just four minutes from the Belleayre ski area. The first floor features a great room with a stone fireplace, a dining area, a fully-equipped modern kitchen, a powder room, and a master bedroom and bath with a whirlpool tub. The second floor has two bedrooms, one full bath, and a large loft with views of the Belleayre ski slopes. Treetops is a 2800 square foot house and is situated on six beautifully wooded acres. Easy access to skiing, cross country skiing , hiking , biking, swimming, tubing, kayaking, canoeing antiquing, restaurants , shopping and some of the finest fly fishing that New York state has to offer. Woodstock is less than a half hour away .A five minute walk through the woods will take you to a beautiful stream and secluded waterfall with a swimming area. The finished basement consists of a large game room with an air hockey table and a ping pong table.

Adjoining the game room is a den with a play station two game system and sliding glass doors to the outside . The Belleayre Lake is a five minute drive and the outdoor summer concerts held at the Belleayre Ski area are just four minutes away! The multi level decks and pool help to make this special house an oasis away from home. Summer weekly rentals are from Saturday to Saturday and ski season rentals are from Friday to Friday. The minimum rental period during the summer is two weeks. Sorry, no weekend rentals.

My girl friend and I spent a week at this lovely home last August. It was perfect in every way. The house is well-adorned, the kitchen is a chef's dream and what can you say about sitting out on the patio at night, watching the stars over the mountain. We can't wait to go up there again-- it's the best!

Last summer (August 2007) we, a family of four, stayed for 10 days at Treetops.
We had a wonderful time! The house is new, includes all the amenities you should need (and more), and is very nicely decorated. Everything worked great, all appliances were new, and really everything was just so nice and comfortable.
The house is very secluded and, at least during the summer, you could not see any of the neighbors' houses. Only once or twice did we hear any of the neighbors.
The owners were a pleasure to deal with as well.
The house is located in a very beautiful area of the Catskills and besides the unseasonable cool weather we had (of course not under control of the owners.....) we have only positive things to say.
PS - The only reason we are late in posting a comment is because we kept forgetting to post it due to the usual hectic daily life schedule.

Our family of four recently spent a heavenly week at the Treetops house, and we would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful, spacious house in an idyllic outdoor setting.

The house is truly wonderful. The owners have an eye for decorating, and created a vacation spot that feels warm and welcoming from the start. The rooms are all large, the linens soft, the several bathrooms all have great fixtures. I love to cook and the kitchen is very well stocked with first rate appliances, pots, pans, and knives. There wasn’t a moment when we wished we had something that wasn’t already there.

We visited in the summer, and used the pool every day. There are two large decks for eating outdoors, with lots of chairs to read and nap in. On the rainy day, our kids played ping pong and air hockey downstairs. The owners left a basket full of local information, which proved useful. We were unfamiliar with the area, and with this help we took day trips to see nearby Woodstock, Phoenicia, the Catskill Game Farm and the Delaware Ulster railroad.

The house is set on a large, private wooded property, and we saw beautiful sunsets and star filled skies.

This is definitely a house that could be rented for a long period of time, and it would be perfect for a winter rental when the great fireplace and hot tub would be put to use.

Surprisingly, the house actually looks better than the beautiful pictures show it. We liked the way the house looked in photographs (obviously enough to rent it), but it wasn’t until we walked in the door and saw just how spacious and how well cared for it is, that we discovered we felt like we were at home.
