A hot tub out back literally sits 20 feet from Rivers edge and there are multiple fishing holes along the 2+ acres of property. This area received national recognition in 2008 and again this year as a top fishing spot. If you want fine dining, dinner theatre, going to plays, adventure parks, rafting, hiking, rock climbing, skiing, snowboarding or just relaxing and going antiqueing ...those places and areas, are all within 30 minutes of this sanctuary. Charming and comfortable

Our "family reunion" each year is quite small (just 5 of us!) and we really enjoy having a house where we can just hang out together. This house was perfect for that.

We loved having the river at our back door and the deck overlooking it was great. There were plenty of bedrooms and the computer geek among us liked having internet access as well. The big-screen TV was a hit for movies at night and football games during the day, when we weren't out hiking, or visiting friends, or shopping.

The town of Carbondale was fun to explore and every restaurant we ate at was superb. All in all our time at the Riverfront house was a success!

Fun in the mountains

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the riverhouse! Our only regret was that we couldn't stay longer. Although our group was in Carbondale for a wedding, we found ourselves ducking away from wedding related festivities so we could enjoy some time at the house. Between the patio, the hot tub, and the trout stream, there was something to keep everybody content. It was a blast.

The kitchen is fantastic, the TV/living room well stocked with movies, music, and comfy couches, and the bedrooms perfect for groups of couples or families. Now we just need to find another excuse to stay in Carbondale. Thanks for a great stay.

Wonderful place to stay; very pleasant. Fishing was good even at a time of the day when you would not expect fish to be biting. Highly recommend it to others.

Riverhouse is relaxing and

The Riverhouse is a great place to relax, chill and enjoy the nature surrounding the property. The house is clean, well kept, great kitchen with a unbelievable gas stove. The rooms are comfortable with good beds and enough space to store your personal belongings during your stay. The yard is great with fire pit, room to play outdoor game, beautiful and big trees. Great deck along the river with plenty of sitting area, the river is outstanding with areas for fishing and chilling. Overall the house is outstanding with all the basic needs. The owner is great with tips on where to go, eat and discover. The river does the rest, BEAUTIFUL, PEACEFUL. The house is in a great area with small town very close for grocery. There is plenty of activities to do in the area been close to Glenwood Springs and Aspen to name a few. White river rafting, horse back riding, biking, golfing, kayaking, hiking, art and more. We have been in Colorado several times and it was the 1st time in that area and we really discover a great place to vacation to. Memorable vacation. We would go back to the Riverhouse anytime!
