We had a wonderful springbreak here in Seacrest! The house was perfect for our family of five. The boys enjoyed the pool, beach and we all loved bikng everywhere (Charlies Donut Truck, George's, to see friends at Rosemary Beach). Looking forward to a return trip.
Really loved our first trip to Seacrest and 110 did not disappoint. The place worked really as we had two families of four with both young 4 to 16 years of age. The place was immaculate and very well decorated and and will certainly be first on our list to book on our next trip probably later this year we loved it so much. Great time, great place and management company was great as well.

The house was not very clean, both propane tanks were empty for the gas grill, no light bulbs that worked in the bunk room and there was no cable or wi-fi. A call to the emergency property mgmt got a visit on Sunday afternoon to solve those issues. The beach access was a small problem as Seacrest only has an easement through Sunset and they will not allow you to walk thru their property pulling a wagon (no wheels allowed) or pop-up canopy. The beach tram service is great if you are willing to wait 30 min. to an hour and there are only two trams servicing a large neighborhood. If it rains early in the day and everyone wants to go to the beach when it stops, the wait is 2 hours if you could even get thru to schedule a pick-up. We decided to just drop the kids and one handicapped adult in the car, but the security at Sunset was hostile about explaining we could not do that, so we quickly got back in our vehicle and the handicapped adult shrugged his shoulders and said you sure don't make it easy on a guy and one of them said with a huge grin, "awww...too sad for you". It was very uncomfortable. The house has 4 bedrooms with room for 8 ppl to sleep in beds, but the dining room table only seats six and the common area is very small. The patio is nice, but the one night we were going to grill, we had no propane and lots of mosquitos. Front porch has one small couch. The bikes were a nice touch. On the day we departed, the cleaning staff parked in front at 8am and it was kind of creepy while we were loading our vehicles. As we got into our car, she rolled down the window and offered that we did not need to rush because of her. I think we should have offered that perhaps she should not rush in cleaning for the next group. I understand it is hard to turn these units quickly, but for the price, there should be some attention paid to detail and I think a more accurate description of the beach access would be fair. In other words, if you have heavy items to carry, you must be prepared to carry them for a good distance OR the tram is your only option.
House has 4 bedrooms & we had 2 ppl in each room, but the common area was too small to accomodate & the dining room table barely seats 6 ppl. The beach access is also a problem. After arrival, we got the fine print on the fact that Seacrest only has an easement with Sunset and you cannot walk thru their property & pull a wagon! So your only option if you are not strong enough to carry for a 1/4 of a mike is the beach tram service. The problem there is they only have two & at oeak times or sfter rain stops, your wait us 1 to 1.5 hours. We tried dropping the small children & one handicapped adult at entrance to Sunset & were greeted with a hostile attitude, so we were quickly attempting to leave & when the handicapped adult commented that it made it difficult the security guard grinned & said, "aww...too sad..." We will have a larger party next year & love the area - would not tecommend Seacrest or Sunset Villas, but there are terric prooerties in Rosemary Beach that do not have the access & personnel issues a
This house and location are perfect if you have kids or taking a multi-family vacation. It's very close to the biggest pool I've ever seen, which also has an open courtyard perfect for playing with the kids. There are shaded picnic tables so you don't have to head back to the house for lunch. My 3 kids loved playing soccer and eating in this area. The house is also within walking distance to the beach, but a free tram service is available if you prefer. There are also numerous shops and restaurants that you can either walk or bike to.
Each bathroom is upgraded with plenty of towels, soap, and shampoo. There are 4 bedrooms that includes a 3rd floor loft and each bedroom had its own new TV. In addition to the upgrades to the house, this is the best beach area we've ever visited. Having recently been to HHI, Kiawah Island, and Sandestin, this is our favorite destination yet! We'll be back soon!
Overall our stay was excellent. We had some issues due to the fact that the property changed ownership on the second day of our stay. Some of the amenities that were included in the rental price (bikes, beach chairs, cable, etc...) were terminated by the previous owner and had not been started by the new owner. We were cought in the middle of the change in ownership process (something we were not aware of at time of rental and arrival to property). The new owner, out of his pocket, made good on all items eventhough our rental and payment was made with old owners. The property was clean, well maintained, and the location is excellent! Less then a 5 minute walk to the pool which is only one block away. The house is perfect for families with plenty of room and privacy. We will definately stay here again! I can't stress enough how well the new owner stepped up and handled our issues when they truely weren't his responsibility. If I was smart, I would say the property was horrible so that it would available when I wanted it; but I can't. You will not be disappointed if you rent this property!
